OldNYJim Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 I was the only bidder on this kit on eBay, which arrived immaculately wrapped and packaged (almost mummified)… Twenty something bucks - contained the kit on the box art (a four-in-one including a roadster pickup variation), plus a complete molded-in-red AMT Model A roadster packed carefully in the same box too. Score! 4

For this creation, I went with a Monogram "Fat Fendered" '37 Ford, along with a resin chopped woody body I found on ebay. The body meets up just about perfectly with the one-piece fenders and body pan. You bought some really neat kits! 1
Brudda Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 I bought this for $10 but did not know what kind of car it was. I asked you guys and it’s a 1933 caddy v16 . I love this site . I had no idea what kind of car it was and asked . The knowledge of people here is amazing. Know nothing about how it fits or the quality of the kit but it seemed kind of cool. I built a monogram duesenberg kit and really liked it. These are not my usual builds but I really liked the challenges and the change is nice.. 2

Zippi Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 Picked these kits up last week. The two 50's off ebay and the other two from HL. 5

Snake45 Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Here's the latest toy show glue bomb I bought, a couple months ago. '61 (?) Ranchero promo, mild custom. The black paint looks pretty well done and I think it will polish out nicely. I'm not wild about the red bed, but I can fix that with some rattlecan matte or semigloss black. The bullet taillights are not to my taste, but those can be easily replaced. Could use some better wheels and tires, too. And of course it needs a grille of some kind, but I should be able to come up with something--the custom front and rear pans mean I can put just about anything that will fit in there, or even scratchbuild a "tube" grille. Looking forward to making this my first post-stroke Snake-Fu "rescue." 9

keyser Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 There’s a 34 Ford Panel in top pic, next to a 34 pickup. 1/25, but it was never kitted. I’m interested if you’re not.
