What did you get today? (Model Car Related Items)

Got this tubbed undercarriage with suspension parts off of ebay today. It's from '66 Nova kit but I don't know which one.  Gonna use it with the AMT 55' Chevy Bel Air 2-door sedan body.  It's actually almost an exact fit, but will need some alterations tho.

Yesterday's acquisitions. Couldn't find the Hugger Orange paint I wanted but picked up a few other cans.

Got the kits from a local guy. The two on the left are parts kits. The 4 on the right are complete/unstated.

A rebuilder 65 Buick Wildcat.

Then I got this from him. A complete Model Car World 53 Olds 88. Got plans for a mild custom with this one.

Grabbed these two off ebay last week. I bought the Testarossa solely for the wheels so I can build the Ferrari Daytona from Gumball Rally to add to the Yellow Camaro and Shelby Cobra I've done already. The Camaro Convertible was only $5.99 + an extra $2 shipping, so I couldn't pass that up, lol.

How do you go about repairing the C-pillar on the Buick. And a '65? That's a pretty rare model I would think.

I was looking for a 66 Wildcat and mentioned it to a buddy last night. He dug this out and we made a deal.

I'm just going to cut the jagged edge into a square, cut and bend a bit of styrene, glue it in place, sand and fill and paint like normal.

Shouldn't be difficult.

Okay, good information should I run into a similar circumstance.

Todays arrivals

I've always liked the "Countdown Series" kits as they were some of the first models I ever attempted when they were new.  I've never seen the "69 Cougar built as a custom version especially since the more recent release doesn't include those parts.

To be honest, most of these arrived yesterday.  The C600 US Mail truck arrived today.  A couple of others arrived over several days.  I decided to post a group photo.  There's something about the older "made in USA" ☺️ kits.
