Believe it or not, the next thing I clicked on on this forum after reading your post had a big ad for--Hellman's Mayonnaise! And I've never seen that ad here before--or anywhere else, for that matter!

Is it really $5 a jar???

I stopped by the general store in Lucerne Valley today and picked up an Atlantis 1/32 Chevy Nova; been wondering if it would be feasible to use the engine and underhood stuff in a Monogram 1/32 Chevy Malibu police car kit. Anyone else tried this?

Resisted the urge to buy a couple kits at the LHS, but picked up a few supplies. Never tried the Molotow pen, figure I'll give it a shot this weekend.

Les and Chris, I'm definitely familiar with The Parts Box and have purchased a number things from them, mostly slot car related items. Good quality stuff! Thanks for posting the link. I have the Interceptor kit (Max's police ride from the beginning of Mad Max) and it's very nice. I still wish for more detailed styrene kits though, but if anyone's interested don't hesitate to order one.

I'll also add that Scalextric has offered 1:32 Supercar slot cars for the AU market over the years and have quite a few.

I finally used my Christmas gift card. I've wanted the visible V8 since I saw it as a kid. The GTO isn't really my thing but I want to try to combine it with one of the 72s I have to make a stockish 70. At the least I helped keep Round2 going by buying it.20220129_153404.thumb.jpg.b117a0b89b145019f3366ffccfa88b03.jpg20220129_153450.jpg.4940ceeeb4b90ee65bf149629159c575.jpg

Got these today(except for the Mongoose dragster I got from ebay) at the Chattanooga model show today. Anyone know where I can get new decals for the Go Navy Tom McEwen dragster?IMG_20220129_202628.thumb.jpg.4f83da2649a08ba56a81c1dd4501bcb0.jpg They were missing.

Stumbled upon these GLIS clear organizers at IKEA today, and bought a few. I've been looking for some with larger compartments which can hold multiple hoods, spoilers, roof sections, etc., and these are near perfect.

I've accumulated many of these stackable GLIS organizers, and agree they are near perfect for storing and organizing parts. When I first discovered these maybe 10 years ago, they had removable dividers and were even handier.

This is the first time I've seen them inside IKEA in three(?) years of going there. Just glad to have found them...hope I bought enough. ??

Where did you get the Chevy grilles from?

I got them on Ebay from a seller named Kootenay3dmodelparts,but i'm pretty sure Icemancollections sells the same parts on his website.

Those are nice, I may have to see if my local Ikea has any. Those would sure work better than the Vans shoe boxes/ziploc bags method if parts storage I use now!

Today I bought a '68 Chevrolet Impala SS promo model. I've been trying to find one for a long time, but they always seem to be too expensive. But this one was found locally here in Finland and it was very cheap. The same gentleman also had a '67 Pontiac GTO Convertible promo model, which I bought as well. Both of these are in nearly flawless condition, and the price for both was way cheaper than what these go for in eBay...

The Impala will be built factory stock with chassis and engine bay from AMT's '67 Impala. The GTO will probably be built factory stock with a more detailed chassis and engine bay at some point as well. But in the meanwhile they can be displayed the way they are.

Got this for Christmas but only starting playing around with it today practicing on some spoons.  I have been using a Paasche H, and it does a great job. But I really like this Talon. Going to take a while to get use to the double action. It is much easier to clean than the H and has a nice large paint cup.

Slowly getting my stuff together for the 1/12 Grumpy's Toy 69 Camaro. Found my set of Cragars, got the decal sheet, photo etch detail set, Grump Lump, now to find a good big block. All I  can find is a resin 572 in 1/12. Hate to pay that much for the resin print, but I might be forced to. I'll still have to fab the tunnel ram.
