Mike C. Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 (edited) My Jimmy Glue bomb came early. I checked and everything is there. Now I think I'll start by soaking it in simple green and water overnight and go from there. Edited March 4, 2022 by Mike C. 2
sfhess Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 A Moebius 64 Nova, Sand Kat and a Chrysler Copperhead promo that LHS had for $5.00 (They had three of them)
Exotics_Builder Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Just my Moebius 64 Chevy Nova and did a quick compare to the AMT 62. They compare well, so I can use parts from either. 2
1930fordpickup Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Stopped into the Detroit Auto Rama today. After walking around for almost 10 hours I came out with a couple of prints for the wall and 4 kits. The new stock Nova from Moebius, reissue AMT Nova wagon, reissue S10 and the 30 Ford coupe, 1

Silver one has a hemi amd webers, red 9ne has a blower motor and tilt front end.. the Cobra has halibrands. all I've done so far is wash the custom vette and replace the tires with AMT parts pack twin pins I have a set of unmelted wheels on the way as well. the goal is to preserve the build exactly how it is That's a cool old survivor! I'm very interested to see what you do with it. Model on! 1

Bought the gasser even though I have one on order and when I got home the one from Model Roundup was on the porch. Also picked up a Johan AMC Rebel machine. That was a bucket list kit for me. 3

Dragonhawk1066 Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 My ebay score arrived today. I have a project in mind for the Prowler trailer, since I'm enjoying the '55 Cameo build I couldn't resist the price for another, and I took advantage of a great offer along with combined shipping to snag the Corvette. 2
keyser Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Does that later issue Cameo have the corrected cab windowsill? Original 55 had rear sloping sill. 57 Stepsides had correct cab but unsure of stockers. Nice haul.
mikemodeler Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 I ordered the new 70 Chevy pickup grille from Iceman, compared to an old resin copy that I bought probably 15-20 years ago there's no comparison. 4
Rob Hall Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Got the new Moebius '65 Chevy II ht and gasser kits in the mail yesterday from Model Roundup...haven't had a chance to open them yet.. 2

Little Timmy Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Got this yesterday, from of all places, wal-mart. $24.95 My Walmart never had models before, so I was "shocked" to see them there. Had my wife not been with me, I would have bought all four that were there ! 2

There is only one cab, so once it was corrected all kits produced after that will have the corrected one. 1
