May be up for trade once I figure out what to ask for in trade. 58 TBird promo body, slightly warped in the rear. Should be able to refit rear bumper. Bottom of interior cut out. Killer haul! 1

Joe Nunes Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Purchased two LED 4' shop lights to replace the two regular shop lights over my modeling workbench. ? Joe
Brian_R Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Joe, When you have a chance to see how they work, let us know. That's something I've been wondering about getting but I don't know how they affect colors on the bench, etc. Brian
Joe Nunes Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Hi Brian, I have the lights exchanged now and the work bench area is certainly brighter. The one thing I am keeping an eye on is that the cord outlet end of the light fixtures, where the pull chains are, is quite warm to the touch. No odor of any kind though. Here is a photo for you. ? Tarkmucker Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Quick mail call. It’ll be a bit before I get to these but I’d rather get them at a decent price now. 3
TarheelRick Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Had to stop by WM to pick up some bird suet feed, decided to walk by the toy aisle on the way out and found these two. 5
bluestringer Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 My 15 year old craftsman air compressor has been acting up, so ordered a dedicated air brush compressor a few days ago. I was getting tired of that 90 decibel noise anyway. Maybe this one will be a little quieter. UPS delivered it about an hour ago. Brand is PointZero. 3
tbill Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 So, went a bit crazy with a coupon at scale finishes…… 6

OldNYJim Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 I can’t stop buying Beetle kits lately - do I need to speak to someone about this before it becomes a more serious problem? 1 1
cobraman Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Small order from Burbank House of Hobbies . Paint for my Porsche project .

bluestringer Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Only 3 kits at my local Ollies, 35 miles away. I got this one, was not interested in the other 2. I was looking for this one and the 57 Chevy Nomad others had found, but no go on that one. 1
kelson Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Ebay arrival, the body is a little rough, the other parts maybe useable and appear to be parts from Amt's original 70' Torino.

Nobody ever paints model Mustangs, Cougars, and Torinos the pastel colors though.

Was the typical two tone blue standard bucket seat interior with no console. I have a WIP Revell '68 Cobra Jet in my car's color combination. It would be interesting to see my car's Marti report. Was an odd combination of options. Dad's boss bought it off the lot at Downtown Ford in Sacramento. It was passed to me for $200 in August 1977 with about 50k miles. The car was worth ~$2000 at the time, but they were very generous. We also had a '77 Celica GT Liftback from them that Dad bought for 50 cents. J-code 302-4V, 4-speed toploader, power steering and power disc brakes. AM-FM stereo (!), remote driver's mirror and whatever package included a trunk light.
Dpate Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 I got a ton that will eventually be coming in from plaza japan, gravity colors, hiroboy, ebay, and that's not including when i go out with my friend this week to check out my main spots lol. Spent about a good $1000 on kits, paints, photo etch parts, etc will post once everything is in. 1
Mike C. Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 (edited) This was more like the last couple of days. Got some ideas for these. The tires are Formula Desert Dogs from Modelhaus. Not really a snowmobile fan (too cold) so look for the snowmobile in the trade section. Edited February 24, 2023 by Mike C. 3
