Got this a couple weeks back. '61 or '62. Man, how times have changed.

Hey Bill,,

Is there a section in there on how to claim other peoples models as your own ? :D;)

Sorry, just couldn't resist seeing Barris' reputation of doing that in the 1/1 custom car world. B)

Those that know me wont be surprised to see I bought another Cobra. This one will be built using the chassis and engine from the new Revell Bronco kit. I did not use any chassis parts from the one I'm working on since it will be a drag Bronco.

Sharp! Was that GTO bumper (second from top on the left) cracked when you sent it?

It's one of the cuts where I narrowed it. Didn't bother filling and finishing the seam as it will be covered with a licence plate.

I got the MPC Rupp Roadster Mini-Bike kit today. I've been waiting for it to hit the selves. I didn't know it had come out yet. Another kit I've been wanting for about 45 years now. I'm happy to have one. A neighbor kid had real one when we were growing up. It was a fun bike to ride. And I've always liked the simple looks and the squarish gas tank that came on the first ones. Which the kit depicts. The later Rupp Roadsters looked a little too slick. Not as simple and fun looking as that first Rupp Roadster.

With a proven track record of NOT getting me things on the list made when my family asks :what do you want for Christmas', I bought myself these.

Both are factory sealed

I stopped at my LHS today and bought some Lionel train stuff for my grandson's train. Tomorrow the tree comes down and the track expands for a couple of weeks. All aboard!

OK - just hit the trunk trim on a Motorific '63 Chevy body and I'm VERY impressed! icon_super.thumb.gif.c3981de7f822eb9d7c4

I'm going to be chroming a LOT of small items with this pen.

I got the 1mm & 2mm last week. Outstanding on small interior items, like ashtrays, door handles and window cranks. You can even sand some flash off of chrome parts and touch up the exposed areas. I did mechanical drafting for nearly 30 years (before switching to CAD) and it feels more natural for me to use the pen than a brush.

Got my last 2016 shipment today, another Revell Bronco, and the AMT '69 El Camino and '77 Monza reissues.    Probably going to hold off on buying anymore kits until after my move next month...
