The 2 tone Pontiac I bought from Okey, he only had two of them and yes  $30 was the price,.... The AMX is a USA oldies minus the engine but with an opening hood , engine plug molded into frame.and came with red wall tires, I bought it from another vendor for $33.

I'd love to get my hands on an AMX.

And this:

ZIL 135.
They will probably look good next to my to MAZ 537 tanktransporter and KZKT 537 tractor once they are built...

I actually know a person that owns a real ZIL 135 that was used for the luna rocket and that one is parked not far away from my parents house.
Unfortunatley it is a non runner as both engines in it have siezed and the missile ramp is removed.
He also owns a T-34 and 2-3 Diamond T tanktransporters from WWII

Had another order from Randy at Model Builders Warehouse arrive the other day and just found the time to open it. Randys' new line of Scale Production is particularly nice.

This has got to be the cutest darned thing I have ever seen in my life. 7.99 at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off made it 5 and change. Three trees, rubber tracks and decals. I took a content shot but my software decided to make it disappear.

There are more in the series so I'll be on the lookout. Talk about a slump buster! Looks like it ends up about 4"X 5" or so and cute as all get out.

Jonathan, I am looking forward to your open box review in Pheeden's Garage.

Me too. Who'd you get your BMW from? Still waiting on mine to arrive at Hobby Search.... MS Hobbies in AZ has them already but Hobby Search in Asia doesnt? Seems very strange to me. I'd cancel and order from somewhere else but they wont let you cancel a preorder.

Been looking forward to this kit for a year, hoping I'm not disappointed.

Thanks for the info about your local Russian vehicles.  Interesting. I couldn't resist the Trumpeter kit shown below - 8 wheels,  a 38.9 liter diesel engine, and a BIG gun!  I'm thinking about getting the "Rubezh" Coastal Anti-Ship Missile. But I already have the "Smerch" MLRS and SCUD missile. So I'm running short on storage space. And budget!

For those who don't do armor, these are pretty amazing kits, with full engine/chassis detail.  Even if you can't see much of that detail when the kit is completed.

While out yesterday running errands .  I picked up a few cans of paint. And while there I just had to grab a couple of the New 1970 Charger kits.

I got mine direct from China, Hobby Easy,  Hobby Easy gets the kits first because NuNu Models is based in China, so its the same as we get Revell/AMT kits here first before the rest of the world,  Japan should have them very soon.   Yes, I did see that he has them in stock.    I

Found a US seller with one of these, and it's a real beauty of a model. I became interested in British trucks many years back, after seeing the old Hell Drivers film (which I also heartily recommend; Sean Connery, Patrick McGoohan, Stanley Baker, David McAllum...hard-driving dump trucks on public roads...).  Though the trucks in the film were "Parrot Nose" '55 English Dodge 100 series, the old Bedford cab is similar in appearance, and used to be seen all over the planet. This tanker wants to live next to a 1/24 Spitfire.

I don't know if anyone makes a 1/24 or 1/25 Parrot Nose Dodge, but I sure would like to have one.

The Bedford TD series (I think) is still in use all over Egypt.  The one that looks like a '50 Chevy. Those things will be running forever.  Egyptians love them and there are junkyards full of donor trucks to keep them on the road. That's also true for the Peugeot 504 station wagon, usually seen as in the photo below - crammed full of people with a big load of luggage on top.

Why are those military models always made in the wrong scale?

No idea..1/35th is their standard scale...military modelers probably think civilian models are in the wrong scale when 1/24th or 1/25th.
