I've found shipping from Japan to be a total hit/miss. I have one seller I'll keep using who charges, but the shipping is fast and trackable. Usually the 'free' shipping is slow...mind numbingly slow. This Mercedes sat in Los Angeles Customs for 5 days! NYC Customs clears in hours.

N.Y. customs really screwed the pooch on mine...…..they've had mine for nearly two weeks now, and they said that they don't recall my tracking number....

I received this kit here for free from a friend here on this forum and all I did was mention that I didn't know these were in kit form and that I worked on them when they were new in a Pontiac Dealership in Carrolton, Texas.  Thank you for your very generous gift BigTallDad!! You da man!!!

I have that one too. I think it's still one of the nicest plastic kits ever made. The treaded tires are beautiful. There is allot of parts in that box

Got some cool 3d printed showrod tires from 3d Scale Parts:

They're a replica of the old Richard Carroll tires from the 60s - really excited to have a set of these!

Oh...!  Very very cool...!!!

Finally got one of these at a price I thought was reasonable. I've got a bug in the back of my head that makes me try and buy everything for $20 or less. Didn't get there on this one, but got close enough to make the deal.

I've had one in the Snakepit for several years. Ran across it the other day, and I think it's going to get slotted into my To Do List very near the top. Will probably Snake-slap mine together with the minimum effort necessary to get an acceptable model to sit on the shelf. What are you going to do with yours?

Bought these two at Ollies today for $9.99 each

Huh. Interesting that those two were at Ollie's already. The Corvette kit was released in 2016.  Slow sellers for sure.

I have some hardtops and convertibles in the stash waiting. One of these days.

It's going to get some detailing, especially the interior. I'm considering picking up one of the Pro Street floor pans on eBay. I'm not big on Pro Street or big tire cars, but I've seen 3 or 4 of these cars done that way and they look pretty sharp.

Oh I hope so! Thanks for the heads up. I've considered handing a set over to a resin caster but he's not overly interested in casting them and fear they'd sit and eventually be lost.

I'd buy them by the bucketload :D

I've lusted over that Porsche Turbo RSR, but ever since I got sick drinking that poison, I lost interest.

I got the GTO kit a long time ago, good thing from looking at asking prices nowadays.  I got the Replicas detail parts some time ago too.  Today I received the HRM engine kit, so good lesson to be patient.
I got the Porsche kit this year.  Then I saw the Renaissance detail parts.  I had ordered the HRM engine kit, Red Frog couldn't get it, really annoying to show it on their website, then claim they have been waiting; got a lead via a post here this week so boom!
And the Testa Rossa is new, just because I don't have one (have 4 brands of GTOs LOL).

Is there a cure for this hoarding obsession? :P

Fred Sterns sent (by USPS. No more UPS for him :D ) me this Johan '62 Fury Hardtop as a replacement for the '60 Desoto UPS trashed.  An A-No.1 standup guy , he is.  Only took two days from Buffalo-Brooklyn. Hey UPS, :P:P:P:P:P:P

Interesting! I think I have a spare Mopar Pro Street chassis from an AMT '69 GTX--you're making me want to build it as a second chassis for mine. A modern "Switcher," if you will. B)
