  1. Awesome! Looks like it should be at Hot Rod Drag Week!
  2. Wow! That's beautiful Love the extended fenders and headlight treatment. They flow very nicely! Great work!
  3. I don't build trucks, but I have been SO tempted to get this one. It looks so cool. Great job!
  4. Big block, 4 speed, 5 spoke mags! Whats not to love? Great job!
  5. Great work! Always a fan of Macks.
  6. I remember a lot of these around when I was a kid in the early to mid 80s, most were jacked up with mags and were 318's not 340's. Yours is a lot nicer than most of those, but I think you captured the look they were trying to get! LOL!
  7. Was at the Airport Road, and Tilghman Street stores in Allentown, Pa. They didn't have the trucks. Airport Rd. had AMT 1950 Ford convertible "Showboat", 280 Z, VW cartoon van and a weird issue of the Crown Victoria police car. They also had the Lindberg 1967 Oldsmobile 442 and 1937 Ford roadster street rod. They also had some Lindberg boats and planes. Tilghman Street had the same, except they didn't have the Crown Vic. Nothing earth shattering, but I got a 442. I will check back in a few days.
  8. That's very cool! Those cushions are great!
  9. Very stealthy! Nice subtle contrast between the body and wheel sheen. Also like the accents, just enough to make it pop!
  10. I have all the '57 Fords except for this one. I will probably get 2 or 3 when I see them or from Ebay. This is a nice series of kits, but I will be swapping motors for any gasser builds because I think the Y block just doesn't fit for that style car. As others have said and done, the FE Ford is the obvious choice, but a vintage small block Ford or SOHC would be cool or you could go with GM or Mopar motors too. I was thinking perhaps a Cadillac, maybe the one from the '59 El Camino, just to be different......

  16. That's really cool! great to see something so different!
  17. Fantastic work! Superb attention to detail! Could easily be confused with the real thing!
  18. Glad to see this one. I had an earlier version that I foolishly sold. Made a little $$$, but missed the model, lol!
  19. Great job! Love you he color and stance! That style Chevy and GMC truck are really good looking!
  20. Wow! Really cool! Great stance, detail and those wheels are perfect!
  21. I don't know much about airplanes, but WWI era biplanes are very cool! Look's like you did a super job, love the camo and all the fine detailing!
  22. Very nice job!! Nice to see a stock one now and again, lol!
  23. Perhaps it is a "special order" paint code model. Back then it wasn't that hard to get a custom color on a factory car. If a Gm exec wanted it, or if it was a promotional or show car it could have happened. I have seen factory painted hugger orange 1970 SS Chevelles, Carousel red on a first gen Firebird, a GTO Judge in pale yellow, etc. Just say'in.......
  24. I don't have anything to contribute to the paint conversation, but I will say that I thoroughly enjoy following this build. This and Dennis Lacy's chopped '28 Ford altered sedan are two of my favorites on the board right now! Keep it coming, lol!
