So started work on the wiring harness and made up the generator and starter with solenoid. As this is a front engine car with a rear transaxle the "tranny" is pretty much a clutch cover. That is all for now. Thank you for looking in! Randy To quote Wayne and Garth, "Schwwwwinnng!"
Pierre Rivard
It's hard to comprehend this level of detailed fabrication, especially at such a small scale. You never seize to amaze sir!
AmericanMuscleFan
Demonstration of dexterity with infinite power, each part made could be exposed individually for a maximum wonder. Breathtaking!!! 😍
Muncie
Each time you post the latest work, I look, I close my eyes and chuckle under my breath because this must be impossible... can't be real... Codi
Words fail me Randy. A truly one of a kinda and inspirational build. There's something here for everyone to admire and to learn from. Next pics you share put a dime or penny next to the engine so everyone can truly appreciate the scale of what you're doing. You're packing in 1/12th and even 1/8th scale level detail into 1/25th.........SUPERB! cheers, tim

Randy D
Okay, finally a progress report. Had to spend some time fixing a screw up on my part. I had removed too much material from the back of the interior tub.... The back wall should be more vertical so I needed to add some material and feather it in... When I get to finishing the interior there will be a piece of stock going down to the floor.. needs to look like this ..... more....
Randy D
A little bit on Borrani wire wheels.... For this build I need the 72 spoke "outside" laced ones... Photo credit to Ed Matsuishi from the Tamsoldracecar site Here is a good pic illustrating the issues in modelling these wheels in 1/24th scale... The inter-lacing of the spokes and the unique spoke tightening nut sets these wheels apart from others. Photo etch wheels can look nice with their turned metal rims and centers and thin spokes but lack the tightening nuts and the spokes do not inter lace. plus of course, the spokes are flat Fernando Pinto wheels have real wire spokes but suffer the same two issues of no interlacing and no nut detail This is an area where the advent of 3d printing can really help. A couple of pics of my pile of options... so far the clubhouse leader is some 3d printed wheels that Ricardo, my partner for 3d goodies, made a few years ago.....here is a photo They look pretty good but I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming offering from Jason at Jack Modeling. Pete, Pierre and Helmut from this forum are helping him come out with this style of wire wheel. The fast paced upgrade in technology in 3D printing from when these were made will be a real boost in quality. That is all for now. Thank you for looking in. Ace-Garageguy
The craftsmanship in this entire thread is mind-boggling, especially considering the small scale. Truly inspirational too. Thanks...

Randy Randy my friend, that's not a pile it's a mountain! 😀 I'm in contact with Jason and the wheel he is developing should be a good fit. I'll share news as soon as he has the design set and prototypes ready to go. Body on this Maser looks a good match to the space frame...meaning incredible! Chris Smith
Randy… I want to thank you for the kind words and checking in on my builds. As I am a assembler of a kit you are a true craftsman. Would have to suggest have you tried to find the wheels you’re looking for from Model Factory Hiro? They did release a number of 1/24 scale kits that had wire wheels. If they are similar to the larger ones, you have to lace them up by yourself. Every part is separate
