TarheelRick Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Excellent rendition of a barn find. As the others have said the weathering is just enough and very convincing. My only suggestion would be to add a couple of tow eyes to the front frame rails so you could attach a tow bar like they/we used to do.
espo Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Looks great. You have no idea how much this looks like a coupe that sat in my driveway for over a year before I got it on the road. The only difference was I had the keys too the trunk, I like the screw driver though.
carmad1957 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 That's awesome! You did a really great job of weathering that piece??any tips or advice on how to's?
Gramps46 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Well done and the trunk key is very clever.
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 That looks very convincing! Just love the trunk key
TooOld Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 That's very realistic , could easily pass for the real thing ! Great work !
89AKurt Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 The patina is very nice. Not exactly in 'barn find" state with a thick layer of dust, but still looks realistic. I like the turquoise too. And the slotted front mags.
Cpt Tuttle Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Wow, weathering job is nice and it has lots of attitude, hard as a rock. Nice build!
