This build was inspired by a Jeff Allison drawing used as the T-shirt art for one of the Billetproof shows a few years ago.

-body is from the recent Revell roadster issue (smooth cowl).

-frame is from the AMT Phantom Vickie [sic]

-engine is from the MPC Ohio George Montgomery (RIP) Malco Gasser Mustang.

-other bits and pieces from the parts boxes.

Beautiful smooth paint and the decal sponsors decals look like a sign painter did them. Like the way you reshaped the firewall and notched it for the air scoop.

RRR, you've gotten your Mojo back, Brother!  The little things make the eye blink for joy!!  Your attention to small details is often overlooked, but this time you nailed each and every corner on this straight-line quarter miler!! -KK

I'm liking this 32 Ford Roadster.  Kewl looking color and I like the blacked out valve covers & blower.

Beautiful roadster, love the SOHC between the rails.  Very clean and well detailed. However, it is not an A/G car, with the blown SOHC and other modifications it should run AA/A which designates supercharged altered.  Still a beautiful build.

Great job R3!

Guys, study the engine on this one....it's a great example of what some extra effort with paint detailing can do to lend an authentic look to a model; especially an open hood drag racer.  And did did you notice the cutaway for the headers at the bottom of the cowl and around the scoop along the top of the cowl, and the added molding that surrounds both?  So, so cool...!
