Can we see some scratchbuilt things?

Recommended Posts

The truck is a lil red express kit that i could not stand the chassis it came with. I decided to Build a one off full custom tube chassis even though i never did it before. The project was never finished and my son got ahold of the chassis and demolished it kinda dissapointing. The next are a set of scratch built headers i made for a twin turbo ls motor. The motor was for an irocz tribute car i was building for a friend who passed but once its started coming together it tears me up to look at it still. I hope to finish it one day.

SR20det in progress.  It's been Back burnered for a long time.  I recently brought back out for my S13 group project.  All scratch built using styrene, putty and random shapes made from different things.  Not 100% correct, but a LOT better than the Aoshima lump.IMG_20161001_243536226.thumb.jpg.d88defb

Some of my scratchbuilt stuff.  In addition to the actual cars themselves I build all the attendant accessories from scratch as well.

The following 78 Ford LTD 460 Interceptor is completely scratchbuilt, as are the comm console on the seat, the cage, standing shotgun rack, TwinSonic lightbar,  Jabsco overhead remote spot and Taylor Buddy Bumpers up front. My first 'labor of love' so to speak..

Built a Whelen 8000 lightbar with overhead remote spot from scratch for my 82 Diplomat LSP, seat console and map light, and bumpbars

Use .05 sheet to make speaker cover, then Bare Metal Foil.                        Tamiya Cl. Blue, install, wire up and enjoy the light show! No wait, it's not real.
