I have a hard time getting my panties bunched up for something like this. I suppose if I had OWNED the vette in question that I might feel different... -

I think you can still use that comment as long as you're prepared to get clobbered by some gender nonspecific entity. -
just wait till yer car "blue screens" while you're on a freeway off ramp...

I guess there will be no more "manning up" or "growing a pair" or having "big brass ones..." -
I do not envy self employed people, in fact I respect them for doing it the hard way compared to regular employment with benefits. In Arizona most self employed people get taxed about three different times on every dollar they take in (generalizing a little bit here), kinda makes it hard to stay self employed.

So...I guess they will no longer be known as a male or female of a species, and will be referred to an "it" of the species. Oh, the huge manatee. (totally pointless IMHO) -

Actually, I think "king" would not be allowed due to that title implying a gender. I think you'll have to use "monarch". -
I refuse to talk about the balls.

the fix was in, they were paid to throw it. (it's just a theory)

Any idea on how to pronounce the "Mx." they are espousing as a replacement honorific? In the future are we to refer to the US president as "Mx. President" instead of Mister (or Madam) President? -
Family Album/Comparo Photo - four Revell 1929 Model A Roadster builds....

a great exploration of different styles and build options, great post! -
I think having a selection of common 1/32 scale engines in resin would be a good resource for builders that like unusual/uncommon subjects. I'm guessing it would be a rather small but untapped market but I think it's out there just begging for a hemi to put into their Lindberg/Pyro '32 Plymouth roadster.
-
everything I referenced and the photos I posted are 1/32 scale.
-
I agree, that Tomy kit build out real nice and your skills turned out a superb small scale build.
-
Examples: heavily modified engine from the Monogram Camaro kit: Motor in the Monogram TA kit Engine from the Monogram Nova kit: I haven't gotten around to using the Hemi from the Monogram Charger kit yet.
-
There ARE some 1/32 scale motors out there but they are no longer in production (AFAIK). The Monogram 1/32 scale glue kits had engines: Nova, Trans Am, Dodge Charger, Ford EXP, Camaro all had motors with varying options including dual carb and blown. Most of the "snap" nascar kits have a rudimentary motor that can be tweaked and there was a line of funny cars that all had engines. There are several Pyro/LifeLike kits that had motors, including Duesenbergs and Cadillac V16's. The Revell '56 Sunliner has a rudimentary Y-block that can be worked into a decent motor. Testors put out a line of IMSA kits that had motors... Corvette and Porsche. I have samples of most of the kits I mentioned here.

excellently finished, many features to admire on this build.

I concur. Someday I have to turn one of those turds into a replica of my 67 Tempest.
-
I think some awesome sauce was used in this build.

Art has the right idea (IMHO). I used a motion sensing light switch in a hallway that had the switch in the middle of the hallway which made for stumbling in the dark till I installed a motion sensing switch. I got one at Home Depot but I think most home improvement stores would have one. -
you are going to miss a few builders by having your survey on faceborg.
