  1. Flickr and PB There are "scale model" photo groups on Flickr...haven't seen them on PB yet. I do occasionally have problems with the way PB handles the forced ads on the free accounts...the pop-ups/forced new window ads tend to cause computer issues while on the PB site till I close them.
  2. I had to use a search term that I have never used before... (not telling what it was till this round is over)
  3. I kept my best in show trophy for a long time (should have turned it into a lamp)...I no longer have it due to how many times I've had to move. other awards have been used for drink coasters...

  6. nice Jag. I have to admit, those are the nicest "plastic" wire wheels I have seen in a kit.
  7. I've seen the wheels on that transporter on a Revell kit, don't remember which one.
  8. that polar lights kit has some nice features for a snap kit, the box says it's 1/24 scale..
  9. the IMC Beetle has all parts to build stock version plus extra parts to build a gasser version. I think all of them were molded in red plastic so beware...

  11. how about this? a 56 corvette grille cross bar or a 53 chevy grille crossbar...similar but different. set it back in the opening to give it some depth and reduce the "in your face" chrome-teeth aspect...
  12. well, Foose, Coddington and Kindig have all just gone with a "floating" single or dual cross-bar. I think now is a great opportunity to come up with something new.

  18. one cost of trading kits is when you realize that you really DID want to build that kit you just traded and the only replacements you can find are selling for crazy money.
