I guess once again, a bunch of the "little people" will be adversely affected by a "management" decision that should have been tossed out the window as soon as it was mentioned. I have to guess that mid level management knew about this and helped hide it.

I wonder if that VW Boss stepped down with his "golden parachute" fully deployed... I hope they sack the other people that were involved in such a risky decision. I'm guessing the independent emissions testing companies will be real busy testing all the other cars out there...I expect more fallout to be seen from other companies, and some well proven bragging also.

you could put a small magnet inside the cowl next to the hinge wire (the hinge wire doesn't really need to touch the magnet if it's strong enough, and assuming the hinge wire is ferrous)...this would eliminate the need for a hood prop.

I think they should do a small segment on the show, if it gets presented to the 1:1 owner or Kindigit Designs. I feel it would be a fitting tribute to your talent and the ability of the show to inspire model builders.

I've had that water supply problem more than once while living in Chandler, sometimes I felt like putting a filter in the toilet water supply lines so that the crud the city stirred up didn't cause the toilet valve to fail.

I paint the ends of my diode "fuel filters" to better match the appearance of the fuel filters I have experienced.

actually, you didn't really HAVE to point out your observations of another forum member....since everyone's forum behavior is plainly evident. I seem to recall that "personal attacks" can get you banned from the forum. I really don't want anyone banned because there is usually something I can learn based on posted projects. If you feel a personal attack coming on, take a moment to consider if your reply pertains to the thread topic (and not someone else behavior). Your opinion on a thread topic is safe, your opinion on another forum member..not so safe.
