Does anyone have an idea whether the 340 engine inside this upcoming 1970 AAR Cuda will be made of newly-tooled engine parts, or is it possible that this engine will be a pick-up from some vintage Monogram/Revell tool, (like the poorly-produced 1/24 Monogram/Revell-attempt at an AAR Cuda that was produced back in the 1990's)? They wouldn't pick-up a vintage 1/24 engine and try to make it drop-into a more recently tooled 1/25 scale kit... would they?

Looks really good to my eyes! The White paint color doesn't seem very "exciting" for a Boss 302 Mustang, but in my opinion is an excellent color choice because it brings a certain "elegance" to these muscle Mustangs!

A fantastic build; there's so much to like about it! The fact that it'll become a promise-filling gift makes the whole story even better! Funny how the headlights showing in that 1:1 head-on shot look more like chrome-plated 1/24 kit parts!

Really nice build; very clean work and excellent detailing added. Give us some more info on this build; what kit it is based-on, paint colors, etc.

Looks really good! Just throw a license plate on the rear and let's take that Hemi out for a drive!

Beautiful collection! I'm certain that I'm not alone when I say you now need to make 7 new posts; each as a detailed presentation with pics of each of these great builds as they all deserve their own post!

Wow! Really nice execution!

br67: A good trade for me as well! At first, I hesitated at doing a trade with you just because you live "on the other side of the world" from me. No more hesitation in the future! Thanks again!

I'll certainly be keeping my eye on this build as it progresses! Great work thus far!

I think this is one of the finest builds that I have ever seen of this kit! The color choices are great, paintwork extremely well-done and the added details take it even farther! The added rear fender skirts really change/enhance the look of this build! Nice job on this one!

I'd say you nailed it! Really nice build; captures the 1:1 extremely well!
-
Stunning build! I'd be very, very pleased with the paint finish on the kit's body. The detail work on this build is spectacular!
-
Very nice! Unusual subject matter almost always catches my attention, and this build of yours sure did! The wheel and tire swap are a natural for this Mav; and your paint-color choice is excellent as well. What color is that, anyway?

Anyone else finished a new '68 Chevelle recently; sure would like to see some pics of it!

Everything about this build is outstanding! Paint work, color choices, vinyl top texture/finish, detail painting, decal application... I could go on-and-on! I really like the Torque Thrust wheels on this build; especially the detailing-painting on their lugnuts and center-hubs. Boy, wouldn't this be one that nearly anyone would love to have as a 1:1 sitting in their garage! Nice work, Tyrone!

What a minute; how 'bout that quaint little Alfa Sprint GTA...?

Stunning! One of the very best, (if not THE very best), builds of this kit that I've seen! I like the Yellow overspray on the chassis; it looks "just right" to my eye! All of the detail's paintwork looks outstanding as well... nice job!
-
Great project; looking forward to seeing it cross the finish-line. Will the final have numeral and other decals applied?
-
Wow! This looks like an ambitious project; and you're off to a great start! I saw the first group of pics and had no idea you cut-open the doors on this project, (that alone is a testament to the quality of the workmanship when you can't even tell the doors have been cut-out)! I'll be watching this one as it progresses!

Anyone have a good idea about a good choice of donor chassis to go underneath this Imperial to get a more detailed chassis with separate suspension pieces? I was wondering about the '59 Plymouth, (Christine), kit, but I'm almost certain the wheelbase would be too short. Any thoughts out there would be appreciated.

I love the 1:1, but could never get past that poorly-done Revell roofline either; hence, I've never bought the kit.
-
Really, really like this build! Everything looks so "right" on it. Great paint and decal work and your engine compartment is outstanding!
-
Glad this post got started as I've been wanting to see some completed builds of this new kit; post 'em up boys and girls... we wanna see your '68 Chevelles!

Great build in an iconic color scheme! I have a question regarding the AMT early Thunderbird kits; they always have looked to my eye as tho they were produced in about 1/22nd scale or so. Those kits always look too big when sitting next to another built 1/25th kit of just about any other car. Does anyone think the sizing might be a bit off?

It'd be interesting to see some of the entrants in that Design A Brat contest. I wonder what the winning entry looked like!
