  1. Nicely done! That glow-in-the-dark look is fantastic!
  2. Stunning build; both of them!
  3. That is an awesome build-idea and outstanding bodywork to make it all happen!
  4. Dang that's cool! It'd be pretty easy to parallel park, too!
  5. What are you using for the chassis underneath this project? Your body alterations look terrific!
  6. Just started building my F-100 Flareside. There are no painting notes to be found on this kit's instruction sheet, which leads me to a couple of questions: 1). The built-up box art model shows a Ford Corporate Blue engine block color; thru research I do know that Ford changed it's engine paint colors program starting in 1966 to the Ford Corporate Blue for the 1:1 passenger car motors, but did this also apply to pickup truck engines? (For some reason, I thought these 1966 240" straight-6 motors were painted in Black)? 2). Were the wheels always painted in White from the factory, or were they sometimes painted in the 1:1's body paint color? Any paint color suggestions would be most-welcome; thanks!
  7. Looks to me like the Brats were raced "down-under" in Australia, but not much in this hemisphere.
  8. Really nice build! Love that color choice and those '69 Cougar wheels (something I wouldn't have thought of), are certainly an excellent choice!
  9. I wonder if any 1:1 Brats of the past spent time as racers on the Baja of California or in any of those cross-country off-road races that used to occur down thru Mexico? This kit would appeal to me even more if I could find a racing-version in 1:1 and try to replicate it.
  10. Looks like a slightly new "look" for this Brat reissue's box artwork. I kinda like it; sorta "retro" and "new" at the same time!
  11. Tim, Any idea if the 340 motor in this upcoming AAR Cuda kit is a newly-tooled motor?
  12. Does anyone have an idea whether the 340 engine inside this upcoming 1970 AAR Cuda will be made of newly-tooled engine parts, or is it possible that this engine will be a pick-up from some vintage Monogram/Revell tool, (like the poorly-produced 1/24 Monogram/Revell-attempt at an AAR Cuda that was produced back in the 1990's)? They wouldn't pick-up a vintage 1/24 engine and try to make it drop-into a more recently tooled 1/25 scale kit... would they?
  13. Looks really good to my eyes! The White paint color doesn't seem very "exciting" for a Boss 302 Mustang, but in my opinion is an excellent color choice because it brings a certain "elegance" to these muscle Mustangs!
  14. A fantastic build; there's so much to like about it! The fact that it'll become a promise-filling gift makes the whole story even better! Funny how the headlights showing in that 1:1 head-on shot look more like chrome-plated 1/24 kit parts!
  15. Really nice build; very clean work and excellent detailing added. Give us some more info on this build; what kit it is based-on, paint colors, etc.
  16. Looks really good! Just throw a license plate on the rear and let's take that Hemi out for a drive!
  17. Beautiful collection! I'm certain that I'm not alone when I say you now need to make 7 new posts; each as a detailed presentation with pics of each of these great builds as they all deserve their own post!
  18. Wow! Really nice execution!
  19. br67: A good trade for me as well! At first, I hesitated at doing a trade with you just because you live "on the other side of the world" from me. No more hesitation in the future! Thanks again!
  20. I'll certainly be keeping my eye on this build as it progresses! Great work thus far!
  21. I think this is one of the finest builds that I have ever seen of this kit! The color choices are great, paintwork extremely well-done and the added details take it even farther! The added rear fender skirts really change/enhance the look of this build! Nice job on this one!

    47 Chevy

I'd say you nailed it! Really nice build; captures the 1:1 extremely well!
  23. Stunning build! I'd be very, very pleased with the paint finish on the kit's body. The detail work on this build is spectacular!
  24. Very nice! Unusual subject matter almost always catches my attention, and this build of yours sure did! The wheel and tire swap are a natural for this Mav; and your paint-color choice is excellent as well. What color is that, anyway?
