Thanks Steve. I was going to buy from Hiroboy, but not all those options are available.
  2. Looks fantastic! Are all nail paints lacquer based?

Oh that is BEAUTIFUL!! Does the C1 body shell come with a Webasto roof? Are the wheels from C1 too?
  4. Amazing! Looks like you’ll be at primer stage soon. Your SB skills are insane Dann.
  5. Nice work. The wire wheels came out really well - just shows how careful painting can make these look so good. impressive cookies too.
  6. Thanks for showing me how good one of these Italeri builds can be. This looks especially great in that grey.
  7. Great idea Dann. Lamborghini’s new Countach seems to be a Countach only in name. If you weren’t told, you would not guess it’s inspiration, unlike the new Miura concept. Those scratch building skills are amazing. How do you ensure a build like this is symmetrical? Do you have a jig?
  8. Great to see you back on this one. Those headlamp covers in the kit are indeed horrible! I’ll be interested to see how you do the vac-formed replacements. I need to learn this trick.
  9. The 3 window is my favourite shape 32. Good start.
  10. This is coming along nicely. I’m looking forward to seeing more. I’m contemplating buying this kit too.
  11. Wow. You’ve done a beautiful job. The white with red interior combo looks period perfect. These 356 Fujimi kits are stunning in their detail. I’m surprised we don’t see more of these being built. The bumper-less look is great.
  12. This is looking so good.
  13. Lovely job on this. Hard to believe it’s just clear over plastic! Aurora made some amazing kits for their time.
  14. Just WOW! You done a great job there Steve. Looks perfect in that colour. Is that similar to Ford’s Java green? Under bonnet detail really makes this model. In the 1:1 world, these cars spend most of their time with the bonnets open, showing off the engine, so building the Bellkits model out of the box just seems a shame. I never knew there was another resin maker doing engine detail for these. I’ve been waiting patiently for Scale productions to get there’s back in stock. I will have to look up roaring resins on FB. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Looks great in white. I think you got the stance just right.
  16. Beautiful Jaaaag. I don’t think I’ve ever seen maroon on an E-type before - it looks fantastic!
  17. Wow. A 1:1 build thread and 1:25 at the same time! You really have your work cut out. Looking forward to seeing both.
  18. Nice job ??. Researching colours is so easy in the modern world, we forgot how difficult it used to be. Looks like a factory combo though. I have one or two models dating back to 1984; they look terrible now.
  19. Cool and classy. The Y block seems the perfect choice in a period Rod. Nice job ??.
  20. Totally fantastic. I love it. Great photography too
  21. What a beauty! The Tamiya silver leaf looks superb. The metallic flake appears to be perfectly to scale. Looks fantastic. Did you have to clear coat over it, or is that how glossy it comes out?
  22. Wonderful job on a wonderful kit. Hard to believe that the body is unpainted. Good work Harry.
  23. That’s a beauty. Candy red can never be wrong. I’ve got to lay hands on this kit.
  24. Great fix on the roof post. Finished model is a beauty. I love these old Jo Han kits.
  25. Wow, your car is a beauty - the 1:1 one, and your scale one. You could never have too many ‘57 Chevys. We have some premium fuels here in the UK that are fine for classics. Of course, we have to pay more for them though.
