  1. The link to the past tread is a little help. But also a little confusing. I too am interest in Ford GT kits. Not so much the MkIV version like Brian, but earlier MkIs or MkIIs. From what I can tell from going back and reading the previous treads, for the money, the Aurora (/Revell) for the early cars is the best kit? The MPC kit for the MkIV? I want a kit that's not too expansive, inaccurate, requires lots of modifications, or is hard to build. The best Ford GT kit I ever built is the mid-2000s Polar Lights snap-kit of the contemporary GT of the time. For the older cars, what compares to that? Scott
  2. Commented on the van in the truck section. I like the boat too. Other than the "water drops". Over all, very nice. Scott
  3. Since it can't be built as a "factory stock" Ford Econoline, I'll be passing on this one. Scott
  4. Very nice. Good job. Scott
  5. I'm not keen on the bumpers or the grille. But, you did a nice job on the kit. The paint and stripes look right for the time. Scott
  6. Very nice. I especially like the way you did the the side windows behind the front doors. But, everything else looks good too. Nice job. Scott
  7. Yea I'm curious about that too. I assume its the Hasegawa kit and not the Revell? It looks great. Scott
  8. I still, with flaws and all, I like this kit. And I'm still hoping for a '67 SS/RS convertible down the road. Scott
  9. I'm not a big Citroen fan, I would buy and build one of these. I'm surprised the DS has never been offered in kit form in 1/24th or 1/25th scale before this. Scott
  10. Looks kool! Old s'cool. I like it. Scott
  11. Cool! Scott
  12. Very nice job. Scott
  13. For once, not the most recent snow fall. For more, see my comments under "what pleased you" Scott
  14. First you need to know that I hate snow! I mean it. I really hate snow. But, the night before last we got a nice snowfall. Maybe 2" or 3". Enough to look nice, but at the same time it was easy to shovel and blow. And it wasn't bitterly cold and/or windy right afterwards. If snow came like this every time it comes, I may learn to tolerate it. Not like it. But, tolerate it. At least that's a step in the right direction. I think? Scott
  15. Love the look of the Alco in GN colors. I have basically the same engine in N scale. Scott
  16. Exactly my point. This I do get. And this is funny. Scott
  17. ??????? Explain.
  18. Another nice one Steve. Scott
  19. This guy who worries about everything is told by his doctor to go on a vacation to forget about everything that bothers him. He goes on a safari to Africa. Well, being nervous and worried about everything, he starts asking his guide about different dangers one might encounter on a safari, and to do about then. Every question he asks, the guide calmly tells what he should do, and assures how rarely these things come up. The guys is starting to feel pretty good about things. Finally he asks his guide one last question. "What do you do if a rhinoceros should happen to charge you?" The guide says, "Oh that's easy. As he's charging you, you just reach down and pickup some dung and throw it in his face. He'll then veer off and never bother you again." The guy then asks, "But what if there is no dung near by?" The guide tells him, "If a rhinoceros is changing you, trust me. There will be!" Scott
  20. Finding nothing when I click on the links. Scott
  21. Thanks Joe for the years of great entertainment. I'm going to miss you. Scott
  22. Neat! Not sure of the rear bumper or the color. But, the rest is really cool. Scott
  23. Looks good. But, it a panel truck. Not a Suburban. Suburbans came with side windows. Scott
  24. Very nice. I'm not too keen on the wheels, but that's a personal thing. Good job. Scott
