  1. Great pictures and it looks like there were a lot of amazing models! Always a fun show with great people, fair judging and wonderful hospitality. Hopefully i can get back there next year. Thanks for the pictures!
  2. Amazing model. Your detail work and weathering is fantastic!
  3. By far my favorite modeling event of the year and unfortunately I have to miss it due to disc and nerve issues in my neck. Hopefully next year!
  4. That is an amazing model, your weathering is spot on. I agree that this is a model that everyone should see!
  5. That is some amazing work, that motor almost looks ready to fire up!
  6. My first car was a '64 Comet, unfortunately it looked nothing like that! As a matter of fact we called it "The Vomit Comet". Yours looks great! Good job on all of the cover cars, that was a very cool idea.
  7. That is looking really good! Kind of unfortunate about the mold lines on the body, they look more prominent than the ones on the 934 Vaillant Porsche. I have heard that the 935 is even more detailed than the 934 especially if both are built box stock. I am making slow progress on my 934, using your 934 build and others I've found on You tube for inspiration.
  8. Great job Ray! That is a very cool looking model. I am currently working on a Tamiya 1/12th Porsche 934, I have never built that large scale before. Detail on that scale is amazing and unfortunately mistakes are much more obvious.
  9. You did an excellent job on that kit, it is not an easy one to build. I definitely struggled with it, finally gave up on the opening doors. The paint and carbon fiber work looks great!
  10. That is a very cool build and definitely unique! Well done.
  11. Looks really nice, good job!
  12. Beautiful build, great job!
  13. Saw this in the magazine, all i can say is WOW! This is an amazing build, your level of detail work is fantastic. Great job!!
  14. Progress has been slow, but I have gotten the majority of the front and rear suspension done. Made front brake lines from painted braided line and the rear lines from stainless welding wire. I'm lightly weathering the chassis and pan to look like the car has run a few practice laps. I've got to run a couple of transmission lines and shifter cable and few drivetrain should be complete. Now it's on to the interior and look and fuel system.
  15. Fantastic job, that is a great looking model!
  16. Very nice looking.
  17. That looks really nice, great job!
  18. Great job, very nice looking car!
  19. Fantastic detail work and weathering. That is a great looking model, very realistic.
  20. The gas station looks a little like the one still standing in Hackberry, AZ on Route 66. Good job Ray!!
  21. Great show today! Generally military models dominate shows like this, but not today. The car tables were more full then the military tables. The level of quality in both car and military models was very impressive. The largest class by far was the competition cars and the competition in that class was amazing!
  22. Looking forward to it! First live contest I've been to in two years. This is always a great show.
  23. Nicely done! Those are easy kits to build, they really go together well. Did you use the USA 1 kit?
  24. Great job on a beautiful car!
  25. Very nice model, love the color and the great detail work. Excellent job!
