  1. No fair taking pictures of the real car and submitting them as a model.? Holy cow!!! That is some great detail on the car, extremely well done! Everything is very clean and well put together.
  2. Beautiful build, paint and decals look great!
  3. Great looking model, very clean build! I've wanted to build an F-1 for a while, love the looks of them, just haven't had the guts to pull the trigger and purchase one.
  4. Thank you guys!! Rich: the Tamiya decals were quite a challenge, a few of them tore and I had to piece them back together. Most of the issues with the Tamiya decals were probably my own fault. There are a lot of decals and although challenging they conformed with setting solution. The Scale motorsports carbon fiber decals were great to work with. They were easy to apply and very forgiving if they had to be moved. The bottom pan of the chassis is made up of 7 or 9 decals all of which laid down and conformed to the bare plastic real well.
  5. That came out really nice Ray! The paint and decals look great. Did you run the Future through an airbrush our did you brush it on?
  6. Just finished this 911. It went together well like all Tamiya kits, very few fit issues until the very end. The front of the body didn't want to sit down where it should without clamping it down after gluing it in place. I gave the model a post race look using Tamiya weathering kits and oil spots using the toothbrush splatter method. Detailed the body, interior and chassis with Scale motorsport carbon fiber decals and photoetch set. Unfortunately, once the body is installed a lot of the detail is lost without really good eyes and a flashlight! This its my first attempt at weathering a body to give it the raced in look, overall i like the way it came out.
  7. Very nice looking, excellent job on the decals.
  8. That came out really nice, a great looking car! I agree with others that the decal work is very well done.
  9. Fantastic paint job, really clean looking truck!
  10. Beautiful Nova, nice job! Chuck's decals are the best, they are easy to work with and lay down nice and smooth.
  11. Wow, a Chevy! Great looking gasser Ray. You know that's not a Cobra.........right??
  12. That's a great mix of combining resin, plastic, and diecast parts to create a very cool model.
  13. Great looking model so far, love the color choice. In my opinion the '69 is the best looking Chevelle.
  14. Fantastic looking model. The decal work is outstanding! How do the Nunu models go together in comparison to Tamiya?
  15. Very nice build of a cool car you don't see very often. Great job!
  16. Fantastic build Art! Detail work and paint are very clean, all around beautiful car!
  17. That is fantastic detail work, very impressive build so far!!
  18. I received an Anycubic Kobra Plus from my kids for Christmas this year, it's an FDM printer so not as useful for parts as a resin printer. I'm 63 years old and never really wanted a printer, but i must say, just like building models, it's very cool and frustrating! I have a lot to learn with it (just like building) but it's a new and exciting hobby for me. I think after i figure it out i will definitely look into purchasing a resin printer and be able to make my own parts. For now I'm practicing with little things for my granddaughters. If nothing else it's a relatively inexpensive hobby to get into and gives you great satisfaction when the print is successful.
  19. Excellent looking build, the decals came out great.
  20. That is a very cool looking gasser. Great detail on the engine, everything looks very realistic. I also really like the seat belt harness, great job on what can be a very fiddly detail. Beautiful model!
  21. That is a fantastic build, very clean and great paint and decal application!
  22. Great looking model, I really like the under carriage weathering.
  23. I realized I had forgotten to include pictures of everything open. I was very impressed of how well the doors fit when closed, they don't sag or try to open on their own.
  24. Wow!! The level of detail and your weathering skills are very impressive. That is a fantastic model.
  25. These are both beautiful builds Pierre! I really like the Sunbeam because it's a car you don't see modeled very often, especially with the cool fender flares.
