  1. For a racer from the 50's this color looks perfect, Pierre ! Very realistic !
  2. In the mail today: Though I had it already, I could not let it pass for € 20,00 (+ postage)
  3. Thank you, Gary !
  4. Now it has the right racecar stance...
  5. Fighting (against obstacles and difficulties) or not: you ended up with a very nice model of an iconic car, Mario - your background scenes are beyond fantastic, as always.
  6. Pierre, I have not yet built any of my Italeri SWB's - only the Esci (before the Italeri has been released) and I only did the absolute minimum: replacing the ugly wheel/tire combo with Italeri's (now we have the option of Jason's Borranis with Dunlops) and modifying the window lines (for a 1960 and a 1961 version)l - the 1960 also had the fuel filler cap repositioned:
  7. Tom, is it still possible to order some decals from him (the site does not show any information about shipping - contact us - conditions of use) and if so, how ?
  8. This is indeed good news, Pierre ! Jason does outstanding work! (I'm thinking of the Ferraris you mentioned and a certain 275 GTB/C which won GT class in LM 65...)
  9. It is 1/24.
  10. Well done, Pierre - your attention to detail and your eye for body proportions is very inspiring as always.
  11. Came today per mail together with a die-cast Ferrari 330 P4 (from the same ebay-seller)
  12. Received another Jouef 1/24 Ferrari 330 P 4 today (German ebay seller noted color imperfections, but I can't find any...)
  13. Cool model of a stunning racecar !
  14. This is one awesome wrecker - very well done !
  15. There is also a version of Marui from 1986 which can be equipped with lights - picture from Scalemates (first version dates back to 1978)
  16. Carl, I had also been looking for a color spray similar to the original Triumph powder blue as I don't have an airbrush. I found and bought a few spray-cans "VW/Audi florida blue LA 5 A" which is a close match I think: Look here: the 1969 Le Mans winner is a diecast, whereas the 1966 Ken Miles Mk II was spraypainted with it (Auto-K and Duplicolor had it in their range) but that was about 35 years ago. I have no idea if the paint is still available, but I will use it for all my Gulf kits (Mirage, GT40 and 917):
  17. Superb model of the nicest Countach of all - this is the benchmark for any LP 400 and I will keep your pictures for future reference. Marvellous color !
  18. Very nice model of a unique car, Matt !
  19. You did it again, Brian - good looking Coe with perfect weathering - road dust and grime makes a very realistic impression - especially the rear view pictures !
  20. One of the best-looking racecars ever...
  21. Nice collection here, Gary - from # 1 to the latest 356s and a few mid-engine pre-1960 racers in-between..
  22. Excellent model, Andreas - unbelievable the work involved but it shows : my personal highlight are the suicide doors !
  23. Excellent color choice and perfect execution - very nice.
  24. Well done, Hanjo - great color for this one, and great idea in presenting the engine seperately.
  25. Will be great to watch, Pierre - this is the Monogram reissue of Revell AG's kit (from the 90's?l I had this kit, but sold it off when I got the chance to acquire Minichamps diecast models. Jason's e-type wheels seem to have too many spokes, but look good here nevertheless. I will follow this WIP and am curious what will you do with it.
