  1. Thanks Joe I do like the engine. Really enjoy your work too Dann. Separated the bumper and grille, opened the slots in the teardrop.
  2. Gary, contact Norm at R&MCoMD. I assume he would be happy to sell a set of the wheels.
  3. I have a similar story, my Mom would buy birthday gifts for me even after I had a family of my own. The last gift she gave me before her passing was a Monogram '50 Ford Pickup. I was torn about building it so I bought a 2nd kit and started building that kit but it was too emotional. Several years have passed and I think now I'm at the point she would want me to build it. Someday I will.
  4. Very nice work Steve. If you don't mind I want to share some history. Motion Performance built this particular 427 Cobra as well as a 289 Cobra. Yes it is the same Motion Performance that also did all the hot Chevys for Baldwin Chevrolet. Revell made a mistake on the box by referring to it as a Baldwin-Motion Cobra. The designation should be "Motion Performance" Drag Cobra. "Prior to the launch of Baldwin-Motion specialty cars in mid-1967, Joel Rosen and Jack Geiselman set numerous track, regional and national drag racing records with Motion Performance 289 and 427 Shelby Cobras. The highest-profile Motion-built Cobra is the 427 KING COBRA that brought $525,000 at the 2005 Russo & Steele Auction in Scottsdale, AZ." https://www.supercars.net/blog/baldwin-motion/
  5. I have been elbowing in on Ace-Garageguy's thread pretty much from the the beginning so I hope he won't mind me posting these mock-up pictures of the Moebius engine.
  6. I think you have a BM addiction, but it's okay with me!
  7. More great builds from Scott. The Stratos is one of my all time favorites.
  8. Thanks Bruce. Wasn't crazy about the brown was on the valve covers so I removed it and went with a black was in the ribs only.
  9. Really like the graphics and the color scheme - nice work.
  10. Not obvious what's left to do Tim, but it looks great.
  11. Very nice Edwin. The Touring Car and Tarmac Rally kits make a great basis for a hot street tuner.
  12. Would be nice if the aftermarket would offer up some intake options. Hillborn and/or a nice high raise manifold
  13. The only parts I have added are the oil breathers and the drain nut on the oil pan.
  14. Thanks Scott, Tom & Daniel. Keith, I agree very impressed with the Moebius SOHC, best I've seen in a kit.
  15. Glad you guys are enjoying the build. Engine finished:
  16. Nice looking engine.
  17. I have the re-issued kit and just checked, it doesn't include the skull face.
  18. Very nice builds Shawn.
  19. Another great build Dax.
  20. Excellent detailing Kurt, on the car and all the accessories.
