  1. You did a wonderful job on this one, Chris!
  2. Very nice, Justin! Great looking build!
  3. She is a beauty, Matt! Great color and such a clean build, you should be proud!
  4. Now that is one very cool model! Everything about it is just “right”. Very nice job!
  5. Great looking Olds, Eric!
  6. Test. Multiple pictures with text in between. Picture #2 Picture #3
  7. I’m going to take a guess with Jagermeister!
  8. Cool beans!! They are fun little builds!
  9. When you primarily build race cars because you love to do decals and you served in the USAF because you love aircraft and you find out that Revell combines your two loves, well, you have to buy and build all of the Tiger Meet jets that they produced!! This is a 1:144 scale Tornado ECR. This is only the second aircraft I have built and the first Tiger Meet. This little guy had approx. 112 decals on it! I had an absolute blast building it.
  10. She is gorgeous, Rich! Stunning build!
  11. Thank you, guys! It is always nice to see comments on your build. I will post a pic of the wheels' package. There are several places to get them. I don't want to step on anyone's toes by not suggesting their business. Even Curt states in his packaging that the rims are a little rough and will need to be polished up. No slam on Curt, I will buy more, but they will need a little work to get a shine on them. Make sure to measure your kit tires and/or rims to get the correct size.
  12. Keith, I saw them both, very cool indeed!! I like your take on the DRAG-U-LA!
  13. David, I may build it next year if they have a Halloween themed group build.
  14. Thank you, Misha! I use a 2'x2' sheet of black acrylic as a base and black poster board for the background.
  15. Those of you that may have a few years on you might remember The Munsters. Grandpa had to build a race car and win a drag race to get back the Munster Koach that Herman lost. I remember watching it as a kid. I built the DRAG-U-LA for FB group Halloween theme build. It was a fun model to build. I added a few aftermarket pieces to enhance its appearance. I hope it puts a smile on your face!
  16. She is beautiful, Eric!! I loved watching it come together. I’m truly happy for you!
  17. Thank you, guys! The model is made by Jasmine Models. They list it as 1:144 scale but I have no idea if that is accurate. I used BSI, (Bob Smith Industries), Gold label super glue. That is the non-fogging type. I squirt a small amount in a little cup about the size of a Coke bottle lid. I used a sharpened toothpick to apply the smallest amount I could. It was a very tedious and sometimes nerve racking build. It is VERY fragile.
  18. This is a 100% PE model, (minus the 2 plastic engine inserts and landing gear), that requires being glued together. This is not one of those slot & tab models. The PE is very soft and easily bent. Some pieces would bow under their own weight. It turns into a beautiful model, IMHO.
  19. From one John to another, great job!! This is just such a nice model. It really looks the part.
  20. Although I have no plans to ever do my own machining, I appreciate Pete’s answer here. It was an interesting read. Thanks for taking the time to write it. It is this kind of sharing of knowledge that makes this forum so great!
  21. I like it! She is just a good looking car. Nice job!
  22. Yup, it is funny how things that we might have thought were kinda goofy back in the day are really pretty cool now. For me, this is a good example. I’m really digging this model, nice job on it!
