Thank you, Scot! Hasegawa has repopped this kit so many times, I can't keep track. It is the same kit, but there are a ton of different liveries. I really enjoy this kit. Of all of the many kit that I have, this one (Porsche 962C in general), is one that I have multiples of.

As always, Chris, it is a pleasure to ride along with you on your journey. This is going to be another amazing model from your workbench. I’m glad that you are sharing it with us.

Well for once my timing was just about perfect! I read through the entire WIP thread yesterday during the Daytona 500 and here she is, all wrapped up! Truly a work of art, Pierre! Your scratchbuilding is top notch and I absolutely love your approach to figuring things out and making them a reality. Bravo, or as I like to say, Fandamntastic!!

I’m sitting here with the Daytona 500 on and just read through eight full pages of this build thread! How on earth I never looked at this thread before, I have no idea. 🤷‍♂️ Pierre, there is literally nothing that I can add to what has already been said. This is just so doggone impressive! Thank you for sharing this work of art with us mere mortals. Holy smokes!

A beautiful model of a beautiful car! I have always read that this is a tough kit to build. Looks like you conquered it!

I hate to see that you are having trouble with the decals. That would totally take the wind out of my sails. 🫤. I didn’t see you mention this so I thought I would toss it out there. Have you tried using heat on the decals? Many guys use a hairdryer to soften up the decals. Personally, I use a small hobby heat gun, but you have to be very careful with those. A hairdryer just blows too much for my liking. Anyhow, hope this helps and good luck!

Here is my entry into the 2025 Annual 24 Hour Model Build. I generally choose a model kit that I am not particularly attached to. If I screw it up, I won't be terribly disappointed. The kit has to be relatively simple, both in parts count and paint scheme. The Li'L 'Stogie fit the bill. I am not a huge fan of these types of kits, but I will admit this one ended up being a fun build. What you see here took me 19 hours. At that point in the build, the model looked pretty good and I did not want to mess it up with decals and some of the accessories that came with the kit. I may add them later, but as she sits now, this is what was completed within the 24 hours. Thanks for looking!

Very cool, thank you! I have Gravity Colors' McLaren Volcano Orange. They call it a tri-coat color. Is that what you used? Regardless, that color you laid down in just gorgeous!

She is beautiful, Simo! I may have missed it, but I could not find if you said what color the body is. Is it a clear orange over the base? It is a stunning color for sure.
