Glow2B announcement: To all those interested in the development of Heller and Glow2B Germany. For more than 60 years the construction kits of the Heller brand were developed and produced in Normandy, France by experienced staff. The Heller brand and its over 400 products were acquired by Glow2B Germany. Glow2B Germany originated from “Heller Deutschland”, the erstwhile German subsidiary. Today Glow2B Germany GmbH is one of the largest distributors of plastic models in Europe. Its strengths are a remarkably high availability of its over 24,000 active products, fast delivery, flexibility and the new Easy-to-buy-System which allows for easy ordering by traders, and delivers all requested information in a fast and reliable manner. Soon a new company Heller will come into being. It will be the owner of the brand Heller and the over 1,500 steel molds for the production. This company will undertake all future investments in new products and marketing. One of the first investments will be for the long-awaited model of the Renault Estafette. Other projects are already in the pipeline. The focus of future development will be on models with a link to the French market and French modelers. This means historic ships, airplanes, and vehicles. Military vehicles in 1:35 or 1:72 were never a strong side of Heller and will not be so in the future either. A team of French and German modelers has been formed to work on future projects. Other nationalities, however, are also welcome. The team will meet in Normandy, France and in Germany. We are happy that Eric David will be the team leader. Eric has been working to revive the Heller brand for several years. With a renewed and strong focus on the Modeling theme, Eric will be responsible for the distribution and marketing of the Heller brand. At the same time, he will help build the distribution in France of the other brands distributed by Glow2B Germany. We will be back with much additional and exiting information in the coming weeks. Well I haven't built my dream car yet, so guess I will build it together with the contracted resto shop, so I can detail it inside out, just as the 1:1

but once you're hooked, it's hard to shake loose I'm told.

Think I've read here somewhere that these kits mostly sell, through channels other than where us hobbyists buy our stuff and assume the runs are fewer in numbers too. But again to each his or her own....

If it sells to those interest groups, why not? it might even pay for something I might be interested in...

Board member Ray from the Netherlands designed this set for the Li'l Red Express, which includes cluster dials, maybe just maybe he will design some more decals when the sweptside become available.

What IMHO would be neat is, if Round-2 puts in the round fenders from the earlier tractor too, so you end up with a 2'n 1 kit.

Also got the resin short bed, and several of the kits needed to make the conversion, still it would be nice to be able to just buy that kit ('79 sweptside 4x4) everything has been tooled in the past, and "if available" it's just a matter of cobbling it all together (like it's that simple )

Let us hope this one sells well, and maybe just maybe with the right customer feedback they will (re-)tool a (the) 4x4 set-up and add period correct (adult toy) graphics. Also if cost-effective a never released faux '79 annual can be created, the Powerwagon Macho truck (also used in the TV show Simon and Simon) If the inserts of the cab from this release can be found (different cowl, hood and grille)

This is to die for (well almost) Have that kit in my stash too, on my copy the builder build the chassis as a to play model, which means a metal axle through the engine block but the rest is mint, same for the convert I have. IMHO the most beautiful full-size Ford of the '60s. Luc

Was the builder's name Steve Goldman? If so he does build test shots for Moebius, and did so in the past for Ertl too.

Bought the Revell Ford GT LeMans kit yesterday, clipped off some parts and did some test fitting, life's good

As much as I love these old Mpc's, an all new kit for this subject IMHO would be the right thing to do, and (again IMHO) Revell would be the manufacturer of my choice, why you might ask, well.... Since Revell also has a 1/35th scale military series, they could spread the investment costs...., and the same can be said for the same era Chevy P/U.

can't disagree with that, although they do make mistakes sometimes (maybe not so in their automotive lineup) A significant factor on ROI! Also, a question for those in the know, do they everything in-house? (all Japan or farm out to Chinese vendors too?)
