It was the sleeper, I didn’t like seams in it, seemed like it took forever to get it the way I liked the look of it.

I’ve been using aftermarket tires on my AMT kits, kit tires are just horrible, sadly, I’m getting low on good tires though…., and KJ isn’t making tires anymore……

Ok, digging thru the tire and wheel drawer was a success, we have front floats! Thanks to vincen47 for opening my eyes to this over sight. So, here is yet another mock up of where we are going……

How do you not just love this thing ? All the junk…, er, tools in the back is just icing on the cake, great build!

Cool project, it’s cool to see a bare bones work truck ( as much as I like rigs drooling with chrome, lol) squirrel repellent is unheard of around here, best you can hope for is they attack your buddies bench more often than yours……..haha…..

Thanks guys. Made a headache rack today, got more stuff glued to the frame and found a set of tool boxes I had laying around from AITM that I think will go on it as well, hope to get some primer on the frame later. I’ll probably put some spot lights and maybe an amber rotator on the rack if I can find something in the parts bin.

Interesting, our local Walmart had that display a few months ago, I wonder if they are giving it another go around, or if yours just got them late……

Looks great so far, and I am really digging your color scheme, I like putting two or three ‘odd’ colors together.

This is gonna be a cool build, I’ve got a few bed buggers in the stash with no good decals as well. that interior is fantastic, great job.
