  1. Great progress. Thanks for keeping this going Steve.
  2. I hope so. I have so many irons in the fire I haven't updated lately but I like the CBP. Maybe you can light a fire Steve.
  3. Hi All. I usually do cars but I'm doing a Land Cruiser for the Aussieball CBP and I'm pondering opening the rear hatch and tailgate. I know I'd have to cut the window from the integral piece but I don't plan on using it anyway. I'll fab one. Have any of you tried it? Other than the obvious thin frame danger, do you have any tips or recommendations (like don't even try it!). Any input would be welcomed. I just did a trunk and it turned out pretty good. Thanks.
  4. Very nice work! Fantastic detail.
  5. Glad to see the progress Steve!! Top notch work.
  6. The weather's improving and the hoopties are out! Up here in Ohio it seems like when the weather breaks everyone that really can't afford a car goes out and buys a car that would never make it through the winter. They drive it until it breaks down or the weather turns. Think they have insurance? Gaaaagh!!
  7. The heads are staggered but they should still fit to the edges of the block. Since, as Bill noted the heads are so poorly tooled you can either scratch build a pair or put out a request for another set, or even a whole engine in the Wanted thread. There are a lot of SBC's out there. Someone may give it to you.
  8. Nice box! Thanks for sharing your tips with us.
  9. Nice progress Pat, I really like the 'Maro.

    Cobra 427

I've seen so many Cobras that I almost passed by this post but decided to check it out, and oh boy I'm glad I did. There have been some really nice Cobra builds posted but this bad boy is sweet! Very nice detail. Kudos Dann!
  11. Just checking in for April, as it looks like I won't be updating my build. I think I've figured out how to get the plumbing for the second turbo to fit but I've got to finish my current build first. Lots of nice work posted.
  12. Wow! Very creative. That's how modelers have to think. I don't throw anything away without looking at it from a fabrication standpoint, but I don't think I would have ever thought of that!
  13. Nice choice Miles, but realize that paddlers are not street legal. At least no where I've ever lived.

    56 Chrysler 300

Very nice work. The scripts are decals in that kit, so it might be that the body paint overcame the decal color. Mark, it would improve the model if you stuck the rear license plate frame on to cover those holes.
  15. I use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to loosen the agent, and then dish soap to wash it away. I don't soak them. That idea came from a resin caster as well.

    Helix 2015

Great collection. You do nice work Ray.
  17. Wow! As they say: How low can you go?
  18. I have helped others and others have helped me. Everyone I've helped has thanked me, even letting me know when they received the part. One thing I do is look at the discussion history of who I'm sending it to. I've seen where some guys request a lot of parts, so I'm leery as to whether they are building or selling. I don't send to frequent requesters.
  19. I bought one set of wheels from them and they were really nice. Took a while to get over the pond so don't panic if it takes a little longer than a stateside order.
  20. Yes, really sweet work.
  21. Decal softening solution works to get them to conform to curves once you get them in position.
  22. Yes, sweet build.
  23. Very nice. Fantastic detail.
