Well a new month and I'm reporting in. I'm not doing much until I get my table cleared of my two other kits but it's hard to stay totally hands off. I had ordered some beadlocks because I wanted a more rugged look, and they came so I had to scratch the itch. I thought about making them but the thought of drilling all of those holes scared me off. Here is the before and after.
Next will be an attempt to add an extra turbo to the turbo diesel. Should be um..fun?
I've actually used this process before after I had read it somewhere. I actually used it over solder for some slight flexibility. It works but make sure you clear the paint after spraying because handling will pull it off.
Thanks James. I haven't stripped it and don't think I have to because it was only the light first coat. I plan to do work on it this weekend. I'll keep you up to date.
Good stuff. I wasn't aware of the static charge thing but I believe it just ruined my first coat on my Dart. I'll be trying your alky/water mix. Thanks.

I can't add to what these guys suggest, but I keep a Tips & Tricks file on my computer for just such situations. Sometimes its just a link to a thread or site, and sometimes its typing in what I read on a Word doc and filing it under the topic.
