  1. Its always best to buy a car at night in the rain!
  2. 'Overall it's a surprisingly well engineered kit...' I'm impressed that the exhaust bore gets smaller towards the rear just like it should - this maintains the gas flow as it cools so helps it exhaust faster. Good job all round.
  3. Great realisation of a great idea! I think the body might well twist a bit once this device had a few hard miles under its wheels! Not that any warpage is noticeable in the pictures. The old Cologne Capris used to finish races with a diagonal crease across the roof. The mechanics just popped them back out ready for the next round.
  4. I also like the stance especially on those wheels. What are they from?
  5. Snake - if you haven't read it and are partial to the Beaver (very carefully phrased!) then I highly recommend 'Think Like a Bird' by Alex Kimbell - ISBN 1904744052.
  6. Clever and neat. Well done.
  7. I know what it is but I don't know why...?
  8. Thanks Scott! I can see the aerodynamic benefit, sometimes old racers would turn their headlights sideways to cut drag in the daytime.
  9. świetny model, dobra robota! Well done Tomasz.
  10. Looks very well thought out - down to the rear wing that for once looks like it would actually give some downforce. Nice
  11. For what it's worth, if you click on a thread within a topic then hit the back arrow at top left to go back to the topic the ads disappear. That helps, but it's still a pita.
  12. Looks good in black, a friend of mine from the BMW car club championship used to race a black highly modified one. Sadly it turned left into the pit wall at Donington - an excess of power over grip! Strictly the negative camber should be more on the rear wheels but it looks fine as it is. Well done!
  13. I love it, well done - but why doesn't the headlight point down the road??
  14. Aww cm'on Bill - don't beat around the bush.☺️
  15. Good job! The front axle set-up is a bit of an improvement on the original! Hope this occupational therapy will help your index finger heal better.
  16. Don't you find posts about toilet paper and other related stuff interesting? I know I don't! Who gives a sh...!

    Jobs

Well it seems that the highways policy here in Britain is to schedule the work to cause maximum disruption, as well as to cordon off as many traffic lanes as possible then do nothing for months - and even when work starts, it is stretched out for the maximum possible time - I often see miles of road mending equipment (as I crawl nose to tail down the one remaining open lane on a 3-lane motorway) with no road workers anywhere in sight. Your idea is too sensible and potentially effective to find favour with the powers that be. ?
  18. Not in place of toilet paper I hope!
  19. I found this. Wonder what happened next. Your build of it is great!
