  1. That'll look great. I didn't know Trumpeter did a Chevy II
  2. Wooooooooooooooooooow! Un-beleeeeeeeeeeeevable.
  3. Just gets better and better every time I see it! Awesome stuff bud.
  4. It's on the modeling "bucket list" for sure. I've now got everything done but the radiator hoses and clamps and the hood glossed. I'm going to save the progress on the body till the "glamour/finishing" shots but will share the "Little Tree" air freshener hanging from the mirror here. This is like really teeny so I had to zoom in a little. The boo-boos will NOT be visible to the naked eye.
  5. Nice work Preston! I figured you'd be here on this forum too.
  6. Ok gang. There are some areas that I need to touch up on this thing as far as the body goes but I'm at the point to where some of it I'm almost afraid to do anything with. At this stage things can get very unforgiving for me and it's either don't do anything about it or take the chance to correct it and risk starting all over again with the body. After what I've been through with this thing, starting over with the body would result in at least a 2 month set back and another set of decals that I'd have to get printed and shipped to me. Anyways here's what's left out of that list I had a couple of pages back. I'm almost there........... 1. Rearview Mirror and “Tree” 2. Install Rear Bumper 3. Install Radiator Hoses and clamps 4. Install Body Onto Chassis 5. Install Door Handles 6. Gloss Coat Hood Assembly 7. Install filler placard for area below rear door
  7. That paint is just too cool. Great progress.
  8. Great work so far and the details on the dash are just out of this world man. Wow!
  9. Whoa HO! HO!!! Now ..............be awesome! The paint on that thing looks six feet deep!!!! Here's my all time favorite. I think hell did freeze over when I completed this finish. My 32 year old Monogram Challenger that I took apart, stripped the gloss coat on and started over. No base paint. Only gloss coat from a spray can.
  10. Like the color choices and the idea Ray. I really like these small cars like this with a big motor. Nice work bud.
  11. Thanks Randy. I've been working on this thing steadily and it keeps getting closer and closer to the end but nothing worth posting pictures about.
  12. Man Steve. You've got that car body lookin' smoooooth.
  13. Wow! That color does look good! I'm in Jeremy!
  14. Good lookin' build Terry. Photography is good as well.
  15. Thanks Carl, Mike and lol ......Jeremy.

Great color, shine and details really bring this puppy to life Jeremy! Good stuff man!
  17. Headin' over there now..................
  18. Excellent build and superb paint work!
  19. A shot of the rear bumper with the license plate installed. I'll be attaching a couple of PE mounting screw heads to this now that I'm looking at it in photos to add a little more "flavor" to the plate. and here's a shot of the front bumper after Alclad application. Still gotta fill in the park lamps with amber but I'm happy with the results so far. I also got the windshield, vent windows and steering wheel installed. An overall progress shot:
  20. It all comes with time Michelle. Hang in there , be patient with yourself, keep posting your work and builds here and you'll find yourself getting better and better in no time. A good beginning point is to start a WIP thread. Ask questions , post plenty of pics and the help will be there.....guaranteed. It happened to me when I started modeling on a more serious scale (no pun intended) about 4-1/2 years ago when I joined my first forum. Within 6 months the magic started happening. I was blown away by all of the skills that I had picked up and my builds started taking on a more polished and more real looking result. Just keep posting in here and watch what happens.
  21. Lookin' good! Can't wait to see the polishing outcome.
  22. That's not bad. Great subject and good color choice.
