  1. Heck yeah that came out nice!! From watching your WIP on it and now the finished pics it definitely does build up into a great finished car. Awesome work James!!
  2. I like that color on the hot rod version. NICE!!! Your stock version looks great too. Sorry to hear about the radiator hose.
  3. Very interesting take on this kit and great ideas going into it.
  4. Pretty cool build Jeremy. Sorry I didn't comment on this one when you posted it pal. Hope everything is going alright in your neck of the woods.
  5. VERY NICE detailing. Looking forward to more on this car.
  6. Can't go wrong with a big block Vette and you're doing a great job with the detailing so far Curtiss. Will be watching this one.
  7. DADGONNIT I missed the completion of this car Curtiss. I really like what you've done with this one and REALLY like the color in which you used for it. Awesome build from every angle and I really enjoyed following along on the build.
  8. Thanks Carl !! Ok gang!! It's update time!! After two and a half weeks without any progress reports, I finally have something worth taking photos of. Here she is with the stance that I wanted and the wheel/ tire combo. All I can say is that this is one of the HARDEST car models to get the body over teh chassis that I've EVER dealt with. When I finally did manage to get it installed all the way into the body, the leading edge of the dash contacted the bottom of the windshield mounting tabs causing the whole front of the chassis to not seat properly. My fix was to trim the leading edge of the dash back until the body slid into the correct position. Total PIA but I got it. Here are the results of the labor over the last few weeks. Almost to the finish line with this one. Aside from the dash/ windshield fit issue this has been a great kit to work with. Aside from wheels and tires she's looking very close to what I wanted the outcome to be.
  9. Don't know what you've got.....till it's gone.....
  10. Sing it brother. I do feel your pain and know exactly what you're talking about. Looking forward to the recovery efforts Martin.
  11. WOW!! You sure turned out a beauty with this one Mike!! Despite the hardships it gave you it looks like you won out man.
  12. Such a well-planned out and beautifully built car Bruce. Hats go off to you on this one brother.
  13. Oh man oh man oh man!! That turned out GREAT Bruce!! Love the paint job!!!
  14. Dan this one's coming along beautifully bud. You're doing such a good job with it. I hear you on the weather bro.....in the back of my mind I've got that old CCR tune "Who'll Stop The Rain" playing over and over and over..........
  15. Tell me about it man. I actually HAD one of these kits and let it go.
  16. Any more progress on this bad boy? Looking forward to more.
  17. Good LORD man!! Masking for an interior like that IS indeed a pain but buddy.......you frickin' NAILED that!!! I'll be headed over to the Under Glass section soon to check this beauty out. Excellent turn out! REALLY!!
  18. This is a good looking resto so far Mike. GREAT upgrade to the shock tower/ inner fender liner issues and I like the mods you carried out on the engine. That engine really needed that alternator repositioning. Engine block color is right on man.
  19. Thanks Dan!! 'Preciate it Dave. Here's after about an hour and a half of wet sanding and polishing...
  20. Oh HELL yeah. I'm in on this one.
  21. Nice crinkle finish on the rocker covers and I'm right there with you on not liking molded in exhaust systems and painting them. That's almost a deal breaker for me in kits but you did a great job on yours. Paint finish on that car body looks GREAT.
  22. Thanks you guys. Yes sir I do Sonny. It seems to help with sealing it in somewhat. I have had the BMF move during handling at the top of the side window trim so I avoid picking my builds up from the roof on the sides now. lol
  23. Whoa man!! That looks GREAT so far!!! Shaping up nicely...............very nicely!!
  24. High parts count to this one. Progress is looking exceptional and am really liking the opening panels. Will be watching this one from here on out.
  25. I can't get over the paint quality and details going into this rascal. Just beautiful work Bruce. You have my attention brother.
