  1. VERY cool subject. Just don't see enough of these. Looking forward to seeing this build in action.
  2. Sharp color and great choice for fuel delivery. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes.
  3. I really like where you're going with this one Daryl. I've still got my Snap-Tite Pro Streeted out Daytona that I threw together as a kid. Now ya gotta keep in mind.... I was around 14 or so when I built this. LOL. I really outta dig this one back out and do this up right.
  4. Thanks Jeremy!! Good to see you man!! Managed to get a shot in. This is how she's gonna dry. Really happy with this.
  5. Wow man! REALLY blowin' through this one!! I've gotta say, I love the color on this car.
  6. Thanks you guys. OK......now that the BMF process has been completed we're ready for the gloss coat now. I started making adjustments to the exposure setting on the camera which is helping to bring the correct shade of red into my pictures.
  7. Stripes are on and touched up and now we're in the middle of the foiling process. I've really gotta work on my photography in bringing out the red pigments in my pictures.
  8. I appreciate the comments Craig! Thanks bud. Frances, I thank you for the supportive and friendly sentiments. LOL! I dunno if my interiors would do your builds justice good friend. lolol
  9. You did a mighty fine job on that mummy head Dave. Covered the seam up nicely and pulled off some very convincing paintwork/ shadowing on it.
  10. Man!!!! Crankin' 'em out these days Dan!! Got a front row seat and all the show food and drinks to go along with it to watch this one.
  11. My God man!! Un frickin' believeable!!! More comments in your finished thread my brother.
  12. I've been out of the loop for a while on all forums for the last couple of months but when I DO come back, I find that you're finished with this beast of a build. I don't know how I can convey to you the fact that I loved each and every page of this build as it was coming together. To say that this end result is a masterpiece would be simply an understatement. Along the way I feel as that I've gained a true friend as well. I'm definitely looking forward to future projects out of you and learning even more from watching you. Hat's off to you bro. You sir.....are da MAN.
  13. Dan: Hell yeah man. He just SHOT up!! I think he's planning on being at the NATS with me. Carl: Thanks ol' buddy and you're right there. Got the body prepped, primed and then color shot on. We'll be going with Raspberry Red from MCW.
  14. Coming along nicely on this one.
  15. Thanks, you guys. Interiors and engines are my favorite parts of auto building. My son and I last Saturday a few minutes before 1 am. He had just gotten the Lego Republic Gunship set and was putting that together and invited me to build models with him as a father and son gig. I think we started somewhere around 9 and spent the next 4 hours together. Great time we'll both remember that one for a loooooong time. Ummmm.....Dan......he's gotten a little bigger than the last time you saw him. lololol and then here he is with it all completed. He's hell on wheels with getting these things done in a quick manner. lol
  16. It's all the little details that'll add up to really set this one off Dan. I don' think you're forgetting much in that engine bay.
  17. An amazing build with amazing paint work. Everything about this build is something to be admired. Very cool 1:1 Camaro as well. One of these days........ I've got a 94 C1500 that I've stuffed a 406 small block in that gets around pretty good, but it doesn't have the character that a classic sports car does. I don't see many 327's anymore so that's an added plus right there.
  18. Yikes!!!! Those mold lines are right in the middle of all the detail alright. One has to wonder why they had to put them right smack dab in the middle of where all the details are. Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on that part Dave.
  19. You and these hood hinges of yours is just one of the things that sets builds like this apart from others. This is something that I'm really looking at doing with my own builds.
  20. Shuweeeeeet!!! Wow man. This is gonna be so frickin' COOL!!!
  21. What a beautiful color on that car Curtis. I'm catching up to a couple of points on this build. The interior has a really well detailed look to it and is set off with the different shades and lusters of black to add depth and that engine detailing is going to make that whole engine bay area shine!! Just a quick observation but you may want to take a Q-tip to polish out that fingerprint on the driver's side rocker cover. Fantastic work going into this ride.
  22. There's alot of it out there and I'm with you on that Carl. I learned a hard lesson a few builds back.
  23. Jeez!! Un................believable!!
  24. Thanks Ken!! All four tires ready for the dull coat now......
  25. I had one of these kits in the stash. Should've built it. Your progress is looking great. Love the 390 V8 and the paint work looks fabulous JR!!
