  1. WOW!! That turned out great!!!!
  2. Thanks Jim!! Hector thanks bud. I'm looking forward to seeing a thread on your Mustang.
  3. Cleanly built. Great job!!
  4. Oh my gosh man!!! You freekin' KILLED it Steven. That looks nothing short of amazing and the photography is just over the top.
  5. I hear you on being that close to the finish line and things going awry. Been there many many times. Usually at the tail end of a build I'm scared to death of handling a near finished project just because of what you're talking about with things coming off. To help with things not falling off like outside rear view mirrors and door handles I usually pin them to the body so they're more sturdily mounted. The cals......man....I hate to hear that for you but this build turned out very well despite all the trouble you had with it. Great work!!!
  6. That's a great idea and excellent use of parts!!
  7. That DID turn out nice Mike. Love the color and details.
  8. That is AWESOME news about it going to the Shelby Museum. Fantastic looking build that could pass for the real thing. Just beautiful Bruce.
  9. Sharp ride. Ya just can't go wrong with a good ol' Stang. Great work on that interior and OOB engine.
  10. Thank YOU!! I'm gonna have to give this a shot for the background on some of mine.
  11. Oh WOW!! Now THAT is COOL!!!! Convincing water effects and excellent idea and execution. NICELY done!!!
  12. Thank you Chris Thanks Gil. Yes sir...so much more was able to be put into this build as a result of having alot of experience with the car and all the pics. Thank you as well Dave. Right you are about all the memories. I had a flood of 'em come to mind throughout the whole building process.
  13. Good LORD man!!! That looks OUTSTANDING!!! That's how it's done right there!!!!
  14. Incredible work and photography. Paint finish is spot on. What did you use for the back ground? Looks like black poster board but it's got a matte finish. Looks great!!!
  15. Black is a difficult color to work with and you pulled this paint job off very well Joel. Such a slick looking car.
  16. For a kit like this it sure turned out a winner Gareth. You sure know how to make these old kits shine like a diamond man. Just beautiful.
  17. Good looking car Mike and love the throttle linkage and lines. Is that a light bulb filament for a throttle return spring?
  18. Thanks Craig. Yeah those little bumperettes or whatever the heck they're called just don't do it for me so those just HAD to go. Thanks Glen!! Thank ya Mike!! I haven't talked with you in a long time Jeremy. How've you been man? Thanks for the comments bro. Dan!!!! Thanks ol buddy!! I'm hoping to make it after all these dang graduations and my son wrecking his truck (he's ok but the truck sure aint) Thanks Keith!! Really appreciate the comments. Thanks Bill. Gonna have to go check out that Shelby if there's a thread on it. Thanks for the comments Rastislav!! 'Preciate it Eric!!
  19. Masterfully built and painted. Did you use a clear or did you work the wet sanding and polish on the color coat? I hear that MCW paints can pretty much go without a clear coat.
  20. Wow!!! First off , that paint finish looks fantastic!!! What the color and manufacturer of the paint? Secondly that engine bay is a thing of beauty. Awesome weathering and painting in there.

Good lookin' build and I agree with the usage of yellow which is very nicely applied. Fantastic work on a stunning build.
  22. This baby is all wrapped up and ready to go in the Under Glass section now gang. I really appreciate all of you who looked in , helped out and encouraged me along the way.
  23. Thanks Ron. The interior had good detail from the box but I just couldn't leave well enough alone. lol
  24. Thanks JC! Thanks Ray. Just felt that I needed to give a little backstory as it was instrumental in the direction of the build. Thank you Bruce. If you want to know the details PM me and we'll take 'er from there bro. 'Preciate it Tom. Thanks Rex. Yes siree that hood scoop transfer was indeedy a pain but it went alot better than I thought it would. That's a great tip on the attaching the end pieces prior to painting. I'll be using that one on more difficult fitting kits like this one in the future. Lee!!! Thanks ol' buddy!! Thanks potna!! Really appreciate the comments.
  25. What a great paint job!!!!!!!!!!! Practically looks like a black and yellow mirror. MAN that looks good.
