  1. This goes to show that it's the modeler and not all the detailing "stuff" and extras that make a great model. Can't get over just how freekin' good this build is man.
  2. Oh HELL yeah!! Looking forward to seeing what happens here.
  3. I've always liked these cars and it was a shame that GM didn't do anything more with them than they did on the street versions. They had something about 'em.....just a cool lookin' car from about every angle. It only gets better in Pro Street form and you're doing a great job bringing this one to life.
  4. Very good work on this car Bob. That engine fit in there like a glove!!
  5. Really puttin' the works to this one aincha? Such beautiful paint work. Nicely done.
  6. I did some work on this yesterday but after I finished it just looked "off". I ended up removing the brake lines because they were .022" solder and were waaaaaaaaaaaay too big scale wise. So I backed up, regrouped and used the appropriate .015" solder I had. Dunno how I mixed up yesterday but we're on the road to progress now. I managed to get the brake lines, vacuum line to the booster and master cylinder cap retaining wire installed. I may come back to that rear brake line and re-tweak the bend in it to match the front line but here we are at this point.
  7. Coming along nicely on this.
  8. Looking good so far bub.
  9. Looking forward to seeing more of this. Looks great so far.
  10. I'm actually looking for one of those bad boys as well for the same exact reason as you are. I've had a couple of these kits in the stash and just can't use the OOB body.
  11. Frickin' wow!!!! And I do mean me some WOW!!!!! This is some impressive work going on in here bud.
  12. Thanks Andreas. Definitely having a good time with this one.
  13. I feel your pain brother. I built the '54 Panel Wagon from Revell's 1983 "Street Demons" release. What an unbelievably terrible kit. I pretty much got what I wanted the build to look like and felt pretty fair when the build was all said and done but MAN......talk about alot of work to get there. But then again......that's modeling.
  14. This is looking great so far Bob. I first saw this kit in the Revell "Saints" line up and have always wanted it despite how difficult of a kit it is to build. Even back then it had a reputation as being a kit that needed alot of work. Looks like you're whuppin' her in to some good shape here.
  15. Thanks Trevor. I know right??!! I've owned 3 of these cars and one 89 5.0 LX and my dang screen name is "mustang" for cryin' out loud. One would think that I would've already built one.....or two of these.
  16. Nice job working everything in so far. Love the look.
  17. That turned out pretty dang good Rich. ?
  18. Can't get over how well this turned out JR. Fantastic work brother.
  19. Un.....believable. WOW!! Very nice work indeed.
  20. Continuing to look good on this one bud.
  21. Thanks Tony! Thank you for the kind words JR. I'm very certain that you will do this kit more than justice. Thank you Tim. It's been fairly tough the past month or so for me to get motivated enough to make it back to the bench but I'm coming back around as I really want to finish this , taking my time with it of course, and then getting back on the Platt Maverick build that I started.
  22. Man this is good!!! Fantastic work Tim.
  23. Sorry for the VERY late reply but I'll be doing just that. Folks......I've got alot going on in real life and currently have my 67 Mustang Fastback build that looks like it's in its final stages but this build has REALLY been calling to me over the last couple of weeks. I've got two other builds that I've pondered building but somehow I am GOING to make this my next project.
  24. What a beautiful car JR and thank you for the explanation on the Elmer's glue trick. I'm going to have to use that when I will need to get some new BMF.
