  1. looks good
  2. I think that's where I got it from to begin with. I used the sheet in the box for the hood on the yellow one. The first time around the decals got damaged. I purchased some Mach 1 decals for the red car, and you know the rest.
  3. So, what of that Mustang they teased a few months ago? I was kinda interested in a 71 Mustang.
  4. Cool When I visited my friend in Charlotte a local business owner was using a car exactly like this one as a pizza delivery vehicle.
  5. Yeah, the sale has been nice. I've spent way too much money on stuff from there this past week. Models are 40% off. Better hurry though; all Hobby Lobbys will be closing by April. The reason why is weirdly awesome. Basically some workers snitched on them for allowing them to work in shut down states and the owners said, "Cool, you don't want to work? OK, we're shutting down. Congratulations, you got your wish, you no longer have to go to work."
  6. That makes sense.
  7. Yeah, I have the old Mach 1 kit lying around somewhere and I was going to cannibalize it. But, I couldn't find it. The Boss kit has it marked for where the scoops should go, but the scoops with the kit are for a GT-500/350. It's an odd mistake. If the right ones were in the kit I probably would have gone ahead and cut the holes for the inserts and made the conversion. Same if I had found my old kit. Everything is there except the decals and the correct scoops. Frustrating, but whatever.
  8. The hood was a little off in fit, and the stripes are one piece so you have to cut them. Which was hard to get right.
  9. I loved the kit and thought about buying another one to make a Mach 1. After all, I remembered the kit having the scoops in it. Well I started to cut out the holes to put the scoops in when I noticed; the scoops are from the GT-500 kit, not the Mach 1! So, now I have a red 302 and a yellow. Couldn't find my decal setting solution, so I was kinda angry I couldn't get the hood right. 10. Never been a big fan of the 70, but I wanted one for the collection. Really hated the kit. Molded in Red, had some fit issues, and not sure what they were thinking about the headlights. You give me a clear plastic lens, but don't have the plated parts to put them in; resulting in me having to paint around them? Yeah, just painted around them and put some foil under them to make it look good. The emblem decals aren't that great either. Don't know why they bothered. Looks good though, even with all the troubles. SAM_0118 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_0119 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_0120 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_0121 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr
  11. Add some stripes and you have my old car, lol.
  12. It's just a competition 289. The 427 body has a bigger rear.
  13. Cool, I had to convert the 72 GTO for mine. Then, learned there was a conversion body kit as well.
  14. Good color choice
  15. Very Cool
  16. Looks good. I really enjoyed the kit.
  17. Looks amazing. Love the color too.
  18. Very nice. I think this is one of your best.
  19. I'd like to get one, but the prices on them are just too high. Looks good.
  20. I started on planes and moved to cars. My dad was a pilot, so I was surrounded by model aircraft growing up.
