  1. Not to difficult smash, The AMT American LaFrance pumper and AMT Ford dump truck. Just a mock up and maybe a model in the future. I would leave the jump seats out. make the gumball lights green and yellow, keep the bell just for some bling greg
  2. Charlie : Vacuum form the first windshield, cut to size, place on mold w/double side tape and shot another windshield, this will give you a smooth surface on the windshield as the grain is on inside of the windshield. When I saw the putty on the first on I was going to tell you that would show greg
  3. Hey guys - It's a cartoon, Artist license is permitted, I was going to suggest guitar string since it's wound and would give the spring appearance. Haven't watched 'Cars' lately to see if they did both sides and agree it gives balance, Usually sold in pairs at western auto back in the days so most used them front and rear passenger side He also needs the CP 100 sirens on the roof. greg
  4. Could not pass up this opportunity to show this off: Robbe 1/24th scale German fireboat, Figures are Tamiya German soldiers and Revell fire figures. Boat is radio controlled by 16 channel radio, pumps water, launches boat at aft and more. can't trailer this baby! greg
  5. First off It is not 1/32 scale, There are no dual wheels at the rear, This originally was a motorized kit. Here is a comparison of the AMT 1/25th, Aurora 1/32 and Lindberg bodies, As you can see the Lindberg (red body) is much smaller than the Aurora 1/32 kit from the 60's I would try to swap for someone near an Ollie's for the kit at 7.99 and go no higher for inaccurate kit greg
  6. Very nice model. I thought I was going to see the V8 modeled. Maybe some Corvette historian could fact or fiction this story. I have heard through the years that actual # 1 Corvette never made it out of the mold, They forgot to put the mold release and the body had to ground out of the mold. The first Corvette bodies were produced in Ashtabula, Ohio and this has been the story floating around Northeast Ohio since the 50's. Anyone care to add a few pennies to this. greg
  7. Check with g scale railroad figures especially Preiser figures. From farm girls to the Pope! greg
  8. Thanks for the pics, That helps a lot. Hate to build another one with the bare frame, It was great when it was the 'visible' huey greg
  9. Yes they do make nice fire trucks, thanks to Charlie I got the cab and made this. Hand made front 71 grille
  10. Hint on getting the roof and front windshield and side glass to fit together, Put them together and glue them before mounting the parts on the body. Nice job on this kit greg
  11. Nice job, Could you expand on some of the extras, ie winch, fliar, and did you detail the interior and how did you get rid of the ammo boxes. greg

  13. When looking at the Hagerty photos the front license plate is in place. That's where the two holes come from greg
  14. For further details check out my thread greg
  15. As promised , here are pics of the interiors Shasta: The AIrstream: Also found out that 90% rubbing alcohol will remove the curtains from the glass and leave clear plastic. Windows must be removed to soak in alcohol greg
  16. They have interiors and to get to them you have to unscrew the bottoms, Certain Airstreams have window curtains on the windows that block the inside. Question: Didn't Airstream use jealousy windows or was that an option? I will post a interior shot next week, Holy Toledo this weekend! greg
  17. These have just been released and found at Toys R Us http://www.greenlighttoys.com/466.html Airstream and Shasta trailer greg
