  1. When I taped off the rear section (It's raw fiberglass on the real car), the tape pulled off some of the paint. I must have missed those spots when I washed the body. No time for elaborate fixes! I'll flow a dab of Mr. Surfacer into the divots and shoot a little more gold over it, and move on. Headers are painted...As always, questions, comments and critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking!
  2. Thanks, Ray. It is a beauty!
  3. Jimmy Flintstone's Goldenrod. It's my entry into the 24 hour build thingie. I'm a little over three hours in. More details when time allows. I just HAD to make new headers...
  4. I am still, now even more, blown away by this thing. I hadn't seen the cab, for a while. It was nice to be reminded of what first drew me to this project. Excellent work with the floor and its installation, my friend
  5. After mine arrived, I looked at it with the '66 chassis. It looks to me, like merely trimming the back of the chassis pan, where it inserts in the body, so that it's narrow enough to fit, makes it virtually a dead drop-on. It looks to me like the WB even aligns. Granted, my look was very rudimentary, but...
  6. Love the tinwork! Well, everything, really! Beautiful work, sir.
  7. Yes, it would! Carry on! ?
  8. I like Detail Master Detailing Wire. It's small enough to be unobtrusive, and big enough (.0075") to be there.
  9. So, now there are two of these threads?
  10. I like that. Very cool project!
  11. I would guess the biggest reason would be production time.
  12. That's where I got mine, at about 2:30, this morning, while I was waiting at a stop for work.
  13. I ordered one, this morning. I have the tracking info, so, that's a good sign.
  14. I was digging through some boxes, and found some very thin (about 1/16") flakes of flagstone I saved from some job sites, back in the day. I need to set up a base to "set" them on. I think a model would look beautiful, sitting on a section of flagstone driveway.
  15. Each round is a quarterly deal. I'm happy to see this thread continue! I started a new project on Christmas, so am out for this round. I aim to be finished with it, and ready for the next round, with a Monogram Edmonds Modified I started a million or so years ago!
  16. I couldn't agree, more! It is so simple to eliminate those that are not pertinent to your reply!
  17. Download and use a free photo editor like Irfanview or FastStone Image Viewer. Then, in the "Edit" tab, you can change the dimensions.
  18. That would be great! Your work is killer!
  19. Agreed. I completed three old, stalled projects, based solely on the fact that I threw my hat into this ring, with them. It helped me remain focused on them, rather than just breaking out something new to play with.
  20. I do, too! Thanks, Bruce! Thank you, Sir! Thanks, Mark. That's what the box says! Thank you, Carl. Thanks, JD. I always liked Smokey's paint scheme.
  21. Thanks, Brian. I hope I can keep it going!
  22. Well, you know. If you take it outside and empty it daily! Because who wouldn't do that?!?
  23. Thank you, Larry. Thanks, Mike. Like Scott said: Smokey's car just might have been an inspiration!? Thank you, Scott.
  24. I paid less that $40, for this copy. Some copies are stupidly priced! Keep your eyes open, and you can get one for $40, or less.
