  1. Morgan Automotive Design has them, designed to fit the 84 GMC pickup.
  2. Looks like some cool stuff coming, hoping they don't take forever!
  3. Wondered what you were going to do with that Suburban, now I know!
  4. Just a FYI, Robert hasn't visited here in 8 months. You can find him on FB at Too Many Projects.
  5. I live in the 16th largest city in America by population and we do not have any local hobby shops. The closest thing is a Hobbytown USA about 25 miles north of Charlotte. There are rumors there will be another HTU in Charlotte this year, but nothing yet. To buy a kit locally, one has to shop at Hobby Lobby or Michael's. I have bought more and more online as the LHS in the area have disappeared. I don't view HL as a hobby store in the same sense as what I grew up with back in the day, but more like a retail outlet like I remember as a kid like K-Mart.
  6. Uh, it's more like "Our product management team evaluates which products to add and discontinue based upon a software program". To think that one person writing into a company with hundreds of locations nationwide is going to get them to share how they make business decisions is a bit of a stretch.
  7. Thanks for the update Lee, I will have to check mine to see what they have. Did you buy all three that you mentioned or just the Olds?
  8. Wouldn't be a bit surprised to see a few roll back wreckers built using that frame, maybe a period correct U-Haul truck?
  9. I gotta believe that something happened to his computer and I bet when/if he comes back he will have all kinds of cool updates to this, just too good to have stopped working on this.
  10. Joel Mendoza at Iceman Collections is working on a GMC grille and liftgate/tailgate package for this kit. Not sure of a timeline but my guess is soon.
  11. Good question, because 210 is supposed to be the Sept/Oct issue.
  12. Those mirrors are a real pita to get set right. That truck has some assembly issues but can look decent and yours looks good.
  13. If Moebius is listening....offer this truck as pictured as a kit and you will have a guaranteed hit on your hands.
  14. Keep in mind that HL only stocks a fraction of what is available from Evergreen. Check the Evergreen website and you may have to order it from a hobby shop.
  15. Very nice, has that killer stance and very clean details. I have a couple of these in the stash, need to get busy building them.
  16. Took my oldest child to see them in concert probably close to 15 years ago, it was his first concert. I remember Billy mentioning to the crowd "For 35 years it's been the same three guys and the same three chords" ! It was great show and they opened for Brooks and Dunn. The encore was Tube Steak Boogie with B&D joining ZZ Top for it. The documentary ran the other night and it highlighted how they started and the early years of the band. Did not realize Frank had a bad drug problem but glad to know he cleaned up. Their story telling of discovering MTV 40 years ago was hilarious!
  17. I also see some nice Camaros and a 66 Malibu kit on the way!
  18. Fireball has the right mirrors- FMR-175; wheels FMR-172; wheels and tires FMR-154B.
  19. He has the mirrors, might have the rear axle, the wheels are likely similar to what he included in the original 4x4 kit and tires would have to be made. Not sure if he would do the emblems but probably could.
  20. He has discontinued the 4wd conversion kit, he had way more orders than he could fill. Not sure what else he could come up with.
  21. Those mirrors are available from Fireball Modelworks. Sure hope the F-250 is done right.
  22. Don Mills has the best scale diamond plate (IMO) available for us modelers.
  23. Mega Hobby has this for pre-order at $29.99.
