Another engine leaves the shop after a rebuild, this time a 1990 Pontiac 3.1.

Fascinating. The level and accuracy of detail is above and beyond what we normally see. Are the goodies inside the second bay based on real photos or are they imagined and improvised? In any case they are outstanding. I have a lot to learn from here.

Here's a few more.

I find that it is easier to drill stuff straight with a template. It took several tries to get one on the net which would print the entire image. In this case a head gasket. Glued it to the top of the block and mounted the block in the milling attachment of my mini lathe. Then I started drilling. Three different size holes. I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

Started cutting up a Cat 3406 to mount on the Revolver stand with the cylinder boring machine in place.
