  1. Ok some decals, wheels detailed and a bit more lines added to engine
  2. Ha ha funny you should mention that...have been dicking around trying to keep the build moving forward while waiting for some detail stuff and the Haynes Owner manual. So I have to keep up the mojo and decals were on my mind. Update pics to follow soon
  3. They are the kit tires...don’t tell me there are other ones or I will be searching and spending more $!!!
  4. Couple more shots with the body panels loosely fitted. The kit is well engineered and goes together well, no cement here, just good fitment
  5. This looks great in the shop Frank, love it!!! So glad you got her back together, Harry would be proud
  6. Ahhhh look at you scratching away building a beauty here I missed all of this, but now it is on my radar and I have subbed to it Great work
  7. You Are Doing AWESOME !!!! It is gorgeous man
  8. Ok here we go. Dry fit photos sorted out now I am looking forward to getting my tubing for the engine detail and some clear, though I probably wont wait for that. I keep moving this forward by jumping all over the place vs building step by step. I have been from front to back of the instruction booklet and have to be careful not to skip or miss anything Thanks for looking
  9. Thanks Dan Got some first layers sprayed last night, photos soonish If anyone tries the decant trick, you can spray the TS paint without dilution. I mixed it with thinner as I was worried but just got a thin layer with no pigment. So spray straight
  10. Ahh it was a clone, that makes sense now. nice build
  11. Looking great and I have subbed to follow now. Got this kit and the PE last month, but it is deep in the stash lineup. Bought a spool of the same wire for $6 from Hong Kong...it will take a slow boat to get here but that is ok. I like the multicolour and can use it for detail builds and LED wiring too. Thanks for that tip. Love those snips, but I have a few too many at the moment
  12. Thanks guys, I am enjoying this build though the number of paint calls and tape ups I have to do are slowing me down. I decanted the BRG Tamiya TS-9 on Sunday, nary a drop spilled. I have sprayed some of the body parts tonight, just letting them set up so I don’t finger print them like I usually do.
  13. I tell ya Bill, it is one of the sweetest paints I have ever sprayed i went about 50:50 with Mr Levelling Thinner and it just danced out of my H&S Ultra
  14. Good on you, Tim. I do exactly the same to anyone who sees Hary’s Builds that I was lucky enough to get.
  15. Thanks bud Like that foil a bit neater, but was a late addition
  16. Working on front nose, brake cylinders and such. I I missed some ejector pin marks that turned out more visible than expected, so I lined the nose with a foil Everything is still loose, just test fitting
  17. I got the Sopwith Camel all finished off and re-rigged all the wires. I left any wiring that Harry had placed and just added the missing ones. The second pic shows how much fun rigging a biplane is Thanks Harry, I enjoyed bringing this back to life
  18. Gorgeous classic collection of models, all extremely well made and detailed and beautifully arranged for photography. You have wonderful taste in automotive beauty! I am happy to say I have most of these vehicles either in my stash collection or am making them at the moment
  19. Gorgeous body shape. I like the look of the engine and resign details. Should be a great project
  20. This is beautifully done with an excellent paint scheme
  21. Hello sir, lovely to hear from you I will show more of her when I get some progress
  22. Pushing yourself is the only way you can get better. Keep going, small steps. I bet you will surprise yourself
  23. Sprayed some lovely Mr Metal Color Aluminum diluted about 50:50 with Mr Leveling Thinner. Sprayed like silk, just so smooth.
  24. Thank you, I shall try to keep her moving along
  25. Thanks Tim, cheers bud
