  1. Neat tip, thanks for sharing and being so clear in the description/pics. I'm sure most of us have all the stuff needed to do this in our tool boxes except possibly the punches
  2. some inspiration for you mate https://customrodder.forumactif.org/t6731-chevrolet-camaro-low-rider
  3. All of the mcdonalds, burger kings etc in scotland are 2 story
  4. Very nicely done, your base graphics suit it to a tee
  5. Cool project, just subtle enough to hide the power upgrades
  6. My photoshop skill is pretty non existant but I tried to improve it a little by swapping the arches and stretching the front a little to balance it out. Hopefully you can see what i was trying to do
  7. Sweet, gonna be watching
  8. Up until 10 or so years ago I was an avid skateboarder, and during one week I ended up in a+e getting stitched up every day due to gravity winning. By the end of the week the docs and nurses just groaned and started calling me stitch
  9. Cool ek, I like the jordan edition paint on it and the slam job
  10. Looks like george barris cut up a new challenger
  11. Load up ypour pics before you do any typing. Then as your typing when you get to where you want to insert the pic click the plus sign on the pic and it will be inserted after the text. Then its just keep typing and add the pics when you are ready for them
  12. I like both old and new cars, but with the older stuff I would have to resto mod them as keeping up with modern traffic would be as much about safety as it is comfort
  13. Icaman collections on ebay does a few different modern chassis and the coyote, I'm sure they would work with a little trimming
  14. Its all about car control, speed has less to do with it than other forms of racing. If the other forms of racing are the car equivelent of running then drifting is the gymnastics or high bar. Also you might be surprised to learn they use part worn tyres in practice but in competition they have a very limited set of tyres available for the entire competition weekend (I think its 2) And its one of the cheapest and easiest motorsports to be a part of, you just need any rwd car with a welded diff and your good to go. Its also very cool to see the old japanese vids of 5 or 6 cars drifting narrow mountian roads while maintaining the same angles and speed as the lead car, so much control and it looks like they are doing ballet
  15. There are a lot of younger folk that build models but its not cars, planes etc. Look how many of those citadel miniatures/gundam kits that seem to be released every other week. I can see more modern cars becomming more popular with hem now though with the massive amounts of tuner engines that are now being 3d printed. In just the last couple of weeks I've received a number of fwd vw engines and body kits which even last year looked like it wasn't going to happen, and I know there a load more stuff being worked on now.
  16. pm me your addy and I'll stick it in the post. I probably have some shocks too
  17. That car was so close to being right imo. If all those hard 90 degree edges were rolled like the rest of the car it would flow much nicer. The way they did it just looks rushed
  18. What parts are ruined? I have a parts you can have with a good unused body and a few other bits. I think I have most of the parts but need the chassis and interior for another build. All the body parts will be spare
  19. Those will be pre orders Chuck, a lot of the japanese sellers seem to take pre orders months in advance. I waited near 6 months for my beemax audi quattro from a japanese seller but i had it 3 months before they made it to the uk shops, so I expect it would be the same for you guys in the usa
  20. You can find it at skateboard shops in the uk, make sure to ask for the black version as it comes in clear also
  21. Theres a lot of stuff from fishing that can be used on models. Especially from the specialist fly fishing shops that cater to the guys that build custom flies.
  22. bitchin rides (kindigit design) are pretty good, texas metal are pretty good too, car sos, car kings, full custom garage, monster garage, mobsteel, rad rides, wrenched, rusted development, speed is the new black, diesel brothers, for the love of cars
  23. Theres a seller on ebay called nazrac that offers a number of engines in most scales. They might have what your looking for
  24. Have a look on some of the honda tuner sites, if its a common problem someone will have a cheaper fix for the compressor
  25. Scenes unlimited do the dually parts for this kit. They are very nicely cast
