  1. You could always switch the body and interior between chassis as the mood takes you
  2. You might find something on shapeways if you dont mind 3d printed. This is the closest I found wih a quick search but there are probably other scales available if you have the time to search through it- https://www.shapeways.com/product/AFLQSBXJD/1-32-1979-dodge-magnum?optionId=65428906&li=marketplace
  3. I was meaning this type of fraud https://www.moneylaunderingnews.com/2019/03/art-and-money-laundering/
  4. If you have experience in alternative fuels theres some good jobs in them around here. Mostly its involved with hydrogen production and storage but they are looking into converting a second ferry since it has gone so well on the first one. Electric aircraft too, so the islander aircraft might be flying for another 40 years
  5. If you want to build the imposter this might help, at its unveiling foose had a stocker with the cuts marked on it for comparison. This is the only pic I could find but every cut was marked on one side
  6. A few more Hasegawa t1 (has since been slammed over chrome rada wheels) Revell porsche speedster with 911 engine AMT scirocco with uscp lancia wheels Hasegawa kubelwagen with type 4 turbo engine Fujimi golf r32 Revell mk1 with clearly scale 16 valve engine Revell t3 bus with audi r8 chassis (now being turned into a pick up) Tamiya karmann ghia with suburu engine
  7. atlantis purchased some old tools from revell
  8. Found out from the news on telly that my job might be ending as the boat might be going away on a charter. I'm not too irked but it would have been nice to be told. The charter is to replace a brand new ship that has been a disaster of fails from bent propshafts, spun bearings, and all 4 engines needing rebuilt after less than a month in service. There is a bit of funny though, the company chartering it are our main competitor and the islands it will be going to asked for our boat by name after smaller boats were suggested because while our boat is getting to 12 years old it has been proven reliable
  9. It wouldn't be the first time, usps tried some vw golf diesel vehicles in the early 80s
  10. I've always thought that damien hirst wasn't an artist, just a mediocre butcher (incidently I read somewhere that he gets art students to make the "art" and he just rakes in the cash. But then there a lot fraud when valuing art. eg. pile of bricks sells for hundreds of thousands in a gelery but the pile in my garden is is classed as an eyesore
  11. Scene's unlimited also do these big rig off road tyres. They are one piece with the rim but you might be able to drill out the rim and fit your own if using larger rims. They come in pairs for the fronts and set of 4 for the rears with a choice of hubs. They seem pretty evenly sized but I didn't look that closely at them
  12. I once cut some foil in the palm of my hand because i was in a hurry, wont be doing that again. I've also got out of the shower and grabbed tamiya paint instead of deodrant. My booth isn't in the bathroom anymore
  13. I dont have a problem with killing animals for meat. I dont like killing them for trophies though.
  14. here you go, I dont know the story behind the pic so I am assuming its the result of a mistake or some sort of treatment the cows get. The pic is from texas
  15. I live in farming based area and some of the wombles (tourists) really have no clue where their food comes from, but it works both ways too. One of my friends likes to post pics of packaged beef with the tag line "thank a hunter" I responded with shooting cows in a field isn't real hunting and he lost the plot saying thats not the point and I was deliberately making him look dumb.... I think he hears a whooshing sound as things go over his head
  16. pm me your addy and i'll get it posted at he end of the week
  17. Now his working from home short makes a bit more sense, he talked a lot about his models in it while the other hosts were all 1/1 cars
  18. If the monogram 36 engine is suitable to you I have a complete one I wont be using. Its from the street rod kit with the redish car on slotted wheels on the box top. Your welcome to it
  19. Thats a nice quattro, looks just like my neighbours
  20. Where di you find the skoda? and is it 1/24? I've only got the recent belkits rally car though I have been thinking about a resin 110
  21. I tend to mostly build slammed stuff as thats what I'm into. I enjoy scratching the airbags and stuff to make it plausible but often I'll leave them out if they woint be seen. I have done stuff that isn't slammed on the floor but I grew up with a variety of modified car mags, from hotrod through to max power with pretty much everything in between. It probably doesn't help that the first mod I've done on all my cars is how low can i get it and still have it drive. Theres a phrase in the vw scene, If it aint rubbin you aint dubbin
  22. If the trim is molded on the body just mask off after paint with decent tape, then hit it with some matt/satin black
  23. It looks better in your pics than the ones revell released. Do you happen to have a pic looking inside from the back? I'm planning to build mine with a suburu engine when they arrive and just trying to plan ahead for it
