  1. have you had any problems with paypal? or do they not send to your area?
  2. No, unless you let it gas out, then use an auto clear to seal it from the hok. I tried it over bare tamiya a couple months ago and the results weren't good, but with the clear it worked nice
  3. Its another duplicolour product. Its meant for bumpers and trim but it seems to work on models too. Since I started using it, masking seems to work better and I've had a lot less crazing
  4. I've not had any problems with duplicolour primers, but i always use the clear plastic primer for the first couple of coats. The one i have trouble with is simoniz primers, complete waste of money unless you want already dirtied thinners. It looks like it has gone on well, so you leave it a couple of days before topcoating and then the primers cracks under the paint after a couple of weeks
  5. The orkney islands, right at the top (and not in a box of the aberdeen coast which really wrecked an oilmans plan for a bridge)
  6. While we were on lockdown for 12 weeks, i stayed out at my mums with my sister and we had a jigsaw set up for when we needed a break from each other. The only rule we had was if you are working on the jigsaw, leave us alone cos it was for some peace. Between us we averaged one 1000 piece each week and it kept us from fighting. Nobody wanted to the baked beans one though
  7. I'm looking forward to this being released, its been sadly lacking in the scale plastic world. There a split screen camper coming out as well sometime
  8. Sweet, it looks right at home on the slots
  9. me too (but i have 4 of the double set and 3 of the single cos I want to build all the ones I did the body restorations on), there also a 70s fergie also by heller. My only fergie I've done so far I turned in a 35 like my grandads one thats still in the family. My uncle is a farm engineer and owns over 200 old tractors, not because hes rich but because he lets farmers pay for work with old machinery
  10. pm sent, and im les not Noel, lol
  11. foil from a cigarette pack might work for the textured section
  12. There is another option too, that works for most of us that still have hair anyway. If you spray matt black and you need to add a little contrast, after the matt has dried rub your fingers in your hair before you wash it then use the natural oils to give areas such as seat centres or chassis detail a satin finish. It might surprise you how much of a difference it makes.
  13. I dont mind curbside, I put a calibra chassis under a kennmary a few years ago and made it twin turbo, and just put a cedric together with one of the fujimi parts pack engines
  14. I've been considering the r31 kit. What do you think of it? I'm a fan of the skylines r32 and earlier and wouldn't mind a few of them.
  15. there's resin rover v8s out there too, I have one in my stash and they pop up occaisonally on ebay. its an sd1 version in 1/24 and a little rough but a little work should and it should clean up to be a decent motor
  16. Sweet, you dont see too many of these done in a rod style.
  17. I'm sure I've seen a trans kit for it but not sure who makes it. Maybe an ebay seach would find it?
  18. I think it would be because there is a bigger market for diecasts. Most of them are sold as toys so the age range of the people buying/receiving them is much bigger than for kits and they dont need as many parts or as much detail.
  19. thanks, its always a good day when you learn something new
  20. How would that engine work? I dont know much about jet engines but i thought they used thrust for momentum so this has just thrown me
  21. I like the direction you're headed
  22. Custom bumpers from an early golf too, and what looks to be later rims, from possibly a mk3 golf or audi 80. I've got the c1 resin kit of that to build and it'll be pretty close to this one, just a little lower. I'd love to find one of these in that condition. All the ones i know of locally have been worked to death and have loads of rot
