  1. theres next to no chrome on the car so i cant see how its a deal breaker.
  2. i've not got any that old but i know its a 2 page article on a very similar car if not this one
  3. found the thread and the pics are still there
  4. was the car on the box art featured in the back of rod and custom during the mid 90s? i'm sure it had a name for the car too
  5. there was a member a few years back that trimmed their rabbit to get longer flocking on a 50s chrysler.
  6. tamiya light smoke should work but you'll probably need more than one coat.
  7. i could have banned them. i didn't. calling the staff morons is against the rules in the same way it would be if i called him names. i dont know about anyone else but i do this voluntary because i want to give something back to a hobby that gives me a massive amount of enjoyment and i dont appreciate being called a moron. i try to be as fair as possible to everyone and i've given some of you chances to fix posts instead of putting them on moderation.
  8. i have a 1/24 version of that car from heller. 32 parts and 24 of them are the wheels, lol
  9. when they say more detailed content descriptions they really mean it too. i have to list every item in a kit individually now. my last kits i posted had 3 pages of contents each and the lady in the post office wasn't happy having to type it all out. over 20 mins to post 1 package, and i had 4 of them. i tried writing sealed model kit and they refused it.
  10. is this the one with opening doors?
  11. i opened the boot yesterday but had to wait on the light for pics. i added the strip of styrene before cutting along the glass to give it some more strength. opening the boot also made it much easier to fix the massive sink marks on the bootlid. so far it looks like a wont need the resin lid, though it does fit. and i've included the only pic i've been able to find for inside a zakspeed trunk
  12. the one by digitalsurface has a flathead in it but i'm sure it could be stretched in a slicer to fit another engine
  13. you're already further than i got last year, i only opened my box to rob the engine for someting else, lol
  14. it wont fit. the fujimi is 1/24 and the revell is 1/25. the fujimi dash is much wider than the revell body
  15. do you have any local selling groups for general clothes and household stuff? i've got some sucess on those with want ads. one of my items offered was a 1/12 airfix bentley for £25 and a really very fine diecast ford tractor in 1/16 thats just too nice for the purpose i got it for. another sourcecould be ask your friends parents, they might remember someone that used to build which could lead to kits
  16. very cool, looking forward to more
  17. talkin loud but aint saying nothing describes most media
  18. if you look on cults for a designer called DigitalSurface, they have a couple sets of salt tyres and rims and also a bellytank racecar. i've printed a few of their files and they turn out nice
  19. i had some change after buying more printer resin so to use it up i got this. it feels like its a little under 1/25 scale but i haven't measured it. airfix dont list a scale on their site
  20. a very minor change in my medication packaging has completely mixed me up. theres the same amount in the package and all but they are laid out just different enough that i've lost track of if i've taken them or not. before i could just look at the strips and know i've taken them but that doesn't work with the new layout
  21. i've opened the trunk but its a bit dark for pics so i'll get them in the morning. i need to now figure out hinges as i only have a 3mm wide strip to fit them unless i mount the hinges to the side. i'm nt overly worried if i wreck the body as i found files for one but i like the idea of building my own. now if i can find a monogram mustang imsa gtp kit i can make a pretty big jump ahead as it has a zakspeed engine with the correct heads
  22. if you do find old kits, but they aren't something that interests you, you can always use them for trading. i wouldn't rule out built ups either as we have the ability to strip most paints and often its a much cheaper way of getting what you like. its a little more effort needed but if it saves a hundred bucks it could be worth it.
  23. take care on the rear pillars, both the ones i had, had a big ugly step in the middle of the emblems and bag the tyres if they aren't alrrady. again both mine had severe tyre melt
