  1. I should have said I block it along the rails to start, and I completely forgot about files, lol. Been a long day
  2. Start with 180 or 240 sandpaper until its close and work your way up to 1500. Make sure to use a block to save on low points. You might have to rescribe the top of the doors too, and if it was me I would do this first, and periodically redo as I'm working up through the sandpaper
  3. I think there is a first gen hi-lux as part of a truck n trailer set. It was pulling a water or fuel tank if I remember right and may possibly have rereleased recently. the toyota gt I think is only in rhd. for the celica there was someone on facebook doing resin lhd dashes
  4. http://www.transitvanclub.co.uk/ http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=21
  5. they're on ebay, not sure of the sellers name but possibly lazy modeller. free shipping too if I remember right
  6. I've always thought the mk2 would look good 2 doored and chopped. I hope you will share some pics of the progress if you are permitted by the owners. Here in the uk folk seem to go nuts if you want to cut one up though the designer for jaguar has well modded one that was in the mags a couple years ago.
  7. Well worth the wait, very original
  8. you can usually find the smer versions on ebay uk for about $15 if its any help
  9. try an architectural supplies place, they use it for their buildings and are usually cheaper than model shops, for bigger packs
  10. you should be able to load them direct to here, the limits were removed when pb decided to charge way too much
  11. if its on a chrome grille, I just use tamiya light smoke and brush it on. It tends to sit in the low spots and leave the raised parts chrome
  12. I think it needs a chop or the split where the 2 tone is raised up to the hood line with the rear end raised the same amount. I like the concept a lot though, just needs a little refinement but really not that much
  13. If you have a cheap spray deodrant, try spraying it on a soft cloth till its soaked then use to wipe the glass. I do this to remove residue from work vehicle stickers when they are removed and it works well. I would try it on some scrap clear first to be safe, I have never tried it on styrene but it was perfect on 1/1s
  14. Thanks for sharing, a sweet mix of styles and eras there
  15. when you go into the add on manager, search photobucket embed fix and install it. It works when done that way.
  16. Thanks, I can confirm it works
  17. There are another 2 versions of the corolla, at least one of them has one of those engine top plates to represent the later versions from the series. Its a decent series if you like cars but dont mind subtitles (2 of the 5 series are dubbed in english). The animation of the races is first rate too, if you can find em I think you'll enjoy them
  18. It's a decent kit, builds up well but you will find it needs some tabs added for mounting the bumpers as there are no mounts on the body or chassis. The cabrio version has a lhd dash too.
  19. If it's any help, italeri have just re-released the mk2 rally car that was last out as a revell kit
  20. you might find something in the fujimi wheel sets,
  21. try hattons model railways, they have packs of 10, 20 or 15 in g scale, or fujimi do some 1/24 sets
  22. Hirobot also have the option to ship by royal mail which is good for me being in the scottish islands
  23. Have a look in farming areas if you want the wagon, much more common in those areas in the UK at least
