  1. Actually, all versions of the Revell '32s have 2 sets of headlights. One set of regular '32 headlights and a smaller set similar to King Bee headlights. Also, if you're lucky enough to get a hold of one of the Revell Model-A hotrods, they actually have 3 sets of headlights, all different sizes.
  2. Yes, it does. I was just looking at mine a few days ago.
  3. Modelhaus tires sells some steel wheels also.
  4. Actually, another quite well known human passed away last week. Ufologist and nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman passed away last week. He was the first civilian person to investigate the Roswell incident and probably the best known UFO investigator. He was a Fredericton resident. I did meet him once back in the mid '90s, we has friends from UNB in common.
  5. Actually Dave, that will be 1: 00 PM my time. Atlantic Time Zone. I'll be at our local show at the time so good choice of the day.
  6. Yes, yes. Very nice. Looks like something I would build, actually. And, you're correct about the engine. It is an Olds. You can tell easiest by the distributor being on the back. The Caddy engine is almost a clone of a big block Ford. , , , and BTW, if anyone has one of those custom grilles from this kit to spare OR the grille/bumper from a '67 or '68, I could use one.
  7. Rick, this list is several years old. A lot of those kits haven't been available in years. I see Steve does still have the stock '70 300 listed though.
  8. Mine's an R+R but they're copies of the old AAM kits from the late '80s or early '90s. The AAM originally had separate hood and trunk lid so Art could release stock and Hurst versions. I don't think he ever did offer the Hurst one though. I don't know who's doing that version now. R+R went down a few years ago when the owner passed on, all the ones still for sale are old stock so get them while you can. And remember, contact Steve at Star before trying to purchase, it may already be out of stock but he may not have gotten around to deleting it from the website yet.
  9. I don't remember ever seeing a kit with that aero package. Just the earlier ones and the '85-up like my 1/1. Shouldn't be too hard to make though. You can make the grille block offs easily by just flipping the grills over and sanding the backs smooth and swapping them side to side. That hardtop you have must be the MPC '82 with the black car on the box? As far as I can tell, it's the only 3rd gen Firebird 1/25 that dosen't have the T-tops. I used that body when I built a replica of my car.
  10. That's my local shop. Scott gets a lot of his stock from the US. He has a drop off in Maine and makes a trip every week. I'm not sure if that's where his Round2 stock comes from but I think it is.
  11. Yup, butchered big time Unless you meant this one. I bet it's still around somewhere.
  12. Known here in Canada as "Irqui-taxis" I've never heard them referred to as "Iraquibus" before. The kit's not quite right for that anyway. They're '78s, not '81s. and not in the same series as the ones Bill's refering to.
  13. No. Even the AMT promos have the messed up sides.
  14. This is the MPC kit though, not the AMT.
  15. A couple things about using BIN. First lay down a thin coat of primer , or any flat paint on the plastic that hasn't been sanded. BIN will not stick to smooth, shiny plastic and needs something to grip to or it will chip and flake easily. Also use cheap rubbing alcohol to thin it and for cleanup. Lacquer thinner , turpentine, mineral spirits etc. have no affect on it. Get a spray can and decant it to use in your airbrush. It's kinda thick sprayed strait from the can. You'll never use even a quart can before the inside of the lid starts to rust and then it's no good for what we use it for. Use multiple thin coats. Its blocked even the hottest HOK lacquer I've sprayed on it , even strait lacquer thinner. I've also used it as a "high build" primer to smooth out lacquer crazing on models. It wet sands beautifully. I've been using it for almost 30 years now. Probably the first person to use it for models and all the above comes from trial and error, first hand experience experimenting with it.
  16. Looks kinda like early '70s Mopar butterscotch to me. Maybe a bit lighter.
  17. Man, you sure have talent. Not the kind of thing you usually see in a Kinder egg. BTW, Kinder eggs are not sold in the US as they have a ban on any food product with anything not edible inside it so many here may not know what they are.
  18. Looks just right Chuck.
  19. In the spirit of Greg's original post,,,
  20. Is this a second thread on this truck? sworn I commented on liking it already.
  21. The long version of the ad is on youtube. Some great footage of the T-bird driving down a runway at the start of the ad. I think one or two of the other cars in the ad were in magazines back in the '80s or '90s too.
  22. Well guys, water's down a lot and we came back to the house last night. So far no damage and just some puddles on the basement floor that can't be vacuumed up yet as it's still slowly seeping back in. It seems to have reached a level it likes for now. No more coming in but if I clean it up, it's replaced at the same amount. Like I said, no damage, just gotta clean up the floor, disinfect it and put things back. Oh, and a few sheets of drywall to replace in my model room. The water was 24 inches deep at one point.
