I just came across this Fotki album on the car. Night be helpful, maybe you already know about it, BTW, anyone know who "Loud-Pedal" is ? He sure has a lot of great pics in his albums. https://public.fotki.com/LOUD-PEDAL/famous-hot-rods/jimmy-addisons-silv/

Identify these wheels and tires
Can-Con replied to Hi-Po's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
They were in a few Monogram drag cars back in the '80s and '90s. -
I liked those movies and the idea that they do keep changing them and keeping them fresh. 10 movies about street racing would get pretty old pretty fast for me. I heard a lot of people complaining that they're not "realistic" but it's just an action movie, not a documentary.

Yes, in fact, it's encouraged. That's what the "WIP" section is for so post away. ? -

Pretty cool, Dave. I sure wish someone would find the tooling for the Meter Cheater and the other ones in that series.

It's Tamiya pearl yellow spray. I like all makes Claude. Thanks everyone. ?

Looks fantastic. Is that Tamiya pearl yellow over the kit plastic?

Love the magazine rack truck. I don't think I've ever seen that done before.

They're all cool but that '29 5 window is just too sweet !
-

Restomod '57 Chevy Cameo

Found a set of headers from an old reissue of the AMT '65 Chevelle wagon with close to the right port spacing. Added flanges and bolt head detail made from stretched sprue and shot it with some spray can silver laquer. Also dremmelled out the flat surface of the headlight bezels where the lenses go and foiled them before adding the lenses. I think it looks better then the flat surface behind there. -
Upcoming MPC Reissues - '79 Nova and '73 Cougar
Can-Con replied to Justin Porter's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
My "bare bones" '79 was a strait 6 /automatic car with no options except one,, the sway bars. It handles like it was on rails at any speed. -

Nice work. I was wondering when someone besides me would tackle some Canadian Pontiacs and Beaumonts. ? -

Too bad you can no longer go online with GT4, we could get a race series together. ? -

Used to play a lot of GT2 back in the day. If you flipped some of the cars you'd see they had a chassis plate like a die-cast car complete with screws. It was only a couple of them, I forget exactly which ones, it was 20 years ago. ?
