  1. It will be fun to see that '64 Cutlass kit. Tooled up a year after I was born. I want one.
  2. Those Taxis all had that huge roof rack too, didn't they? I've seen other pics of Taxis in the Mideast and they had those racks. (I guess because the trunks are too small to hold much luggage.)
  3. Excellent Build! I too, applaud your colour choice. It fits perfectly.
  4. Laser Sharp Work there, Rat! A sweet ryde for sure!
  5. I suspect that the Roth Pickup decals could be MADE to work on the Foose truck, but it would take cutting and fitting to do so. It would make a neat Build though.
  6. You guys have changed my mind about the CRB. I'm batting 0 for 2 on these group builds as I have a Peking to Paris and a Vannonball Run build still in progress. That said, I'd like to join in myself, if it is not too late. I'm in with the 1914 Stutz Bearcat from the TV series 'Bearcats" from 1971.
  7. Ashman, That Skyline Rocks! You did great. I like the little Tiger too.
  8. Wow! One of your best builds! I second the call for more Photos!
  9. Great Build! Where'd you source the BBC? Monogram '39 Chevy?
  10. I agree with Snake. Leave it as is, until you get tired of looking at it. Then put some decals on it. IMHO, I'd finish it with just the Race Numbers, and call it done.
  11. It sits WAY TOO high, and the wheels are too small! Other than that, great work, and that scratch built Bed Rack is killer.
  12. Nice Rides, Anton. Welcome to the Board. Looking forward to seeing your builds. Alan.
  13. Sharp Build!
  14. More on the Eight Wheels Touring Car. A Reeves "Octo-Auto" https://silodrome.com/reeves-octoauto-sextoauto/ https://forums.aaca.org/topic/334241-do-any-survive-1911-reeves-octoauto/ https://american-automobiles.com/Reeves-Sexto-Octo.html and The Clancey 6 wheeler https://bangshift.com/bangshiftapex/racingjunk-find-buy-perfect-recreation-six-wheeled-pat-clancey-special-indy-car/
  15. Well Done! I like the Blue Colour.
  16. A 'homerun' of a build! Just awesome on that car. You've made that Johan kit, a masterpiece.
  17. You are correct Mike. Those Wheels went on some hot rods too.
  18. Thanks, Ray.
  19. The Ice Princess. https://steampunktendencies.com/the-amazing-xf58-ice-princess-custom-1950-studebaker-and-1960-cadillac-mix/ Can we get this one tooled up, ASAP, please? I'd take one in Resin too.
  20. You and me both, Carl! As bad as the nose fit is, I still want to build it that way.
  21. Ray, any pics of the Tires, and Decals? Did the kit come with two engines? Thanks. Alan
  22. Thanks, Paul! I'll be waiting with "Worm on Tongue" (Baited Breath)
  23. Thanks for the Update, Casey! Good to know about the Tires and the info about the Luv. I had not considered any of the Hobbico connection. That sounds very plausible..... Even more reason to get this kit and enjoy it.
  24. I've heard that engine called a 454, but as SoDak says a 427 would look the same from out side. Generally speaking, Chevy Engines in kits are really only divided into Big Block and Small Block, unless you are trying to replicate an Exact Engine. Then it is worth hunting down Tim Boyd's, excellent articles (in the other mag) on how to tell the various engines apart. Those articles will help you to build a specific engine for a specific car. For General Shelf Building, I don't get too far in the weeds, as to what is what, per engine displacement.
