  1. Neat Build. It looks nicely Derelict. Good Show.
  2. Black is Famously Hard to get a clean, shiny finish from. You nailed it! Awesome Paint ,and the stance is right. I don;t think I've seen the old Monogram Badman ever look as good as your version. Top Notch Work. Good Show.
  3. Would Tamiya's Light Gunmetal, or Aluminum Silver be a good match for the 007 Car?
  4. That is true. I'm not Up on the 1970's Camaro Engine Options. Time for some Google.
  5. No One in my family, that I'd give money to anymore. Well, Almost no one. And of the few left, none travel, or would be willing to call me and ask for money anyways.
  6. Where would you source your Straight Six? The One in the Monogram '53 Chevy or Corvette is a bit old, isn't it?
  7. I'd really like to see this one Back!
  8. Finest Kind, as the say in Maine! That looks really sharp. Where did you get the Gofer Saskatchewan Plates? I need some myself.
  9. Yes, on the Iso Grifo! What an Awesome Car.
  10. Ah, Okay Then. Thank You for posting the Photos. With the new flat hood, and using the stock wheels you could build a pretty Base Model V-8 Camaro out of this kit.
  11. I have neither kit, or You would have a Deal.
  12. According to this Website there were a couple different years used as the Hero Truck. So close may be about as good as you can get, unless you are trying to duplicate an exact episode. And, even then, the Stunt Truck and the Hero Truck may not look the same.
  13. Pappy, I Thank You for your most Excellent Suggestion, but as I said, I don't use an Airbrush, only Spray Cans. That I why I was asking about Tamiya Colours.
  14. I do not have my Camaro kit handy, buy aren't those Cross Laced, BBS style rims new to the Camaro kit? I thought all the rims were the Centerline style. There are two Center line Rims still on the sprue, but I think the Other BBS Rims are new to the Kit. Does the Stranger Things Camaro have those wheels? I wonder too, what tires the Camaro will get. Probably no Slicks on this issue. Blazer. I see what you mean. There are both Single and Quad headlight lenses on the clear sprue. And I had not counted the Round Lenses that are there. HInts to future plans I would say. From just what others have said, and my own thoughts, I see this Blazer Kit as having very long legs. Revell may have lots of plans for this tooling. I sure hope so. I note, too, that this is a 'serious' Kit. There are no Chromed Engine Parts, and all the parts look to have a stock vibe. This is a good thing. I hope all these 'Branded' Tie-In kits sell well. All three represent Tooling Dollars allocated to new parts, or an all new kit. Bravo Revell.
  15. Yeah. And We are only half way done with the year.
  16. The Charger box art is Very Good. That will sell lots of kits. I like the way the car jumps out at you. I think the Decals this time around may be better.
  17. Some Thoughts on the Blazer. Notice the ICM style Multi-part chassis with the separate side rails and Cross members. The Light bar looks good but at only 3 (?) parts is simplified, but I note that the parts for the bar are included the base kit sprues, so any future versions of the kit will give you all the Police parts, as it looks like the radios are in one of the chrome sprues. I like the tread detail on the spare tire, and the Tires themselves look very good. Note too, that the grille is on it's own small sprue, so that by swapping out just the grille sprue, you can depict a different year Blazer. This is thoroughly Modren Tooling, well up to 21st Century standards. AS we so often note on this board, no modren Model Company tools up a new kit without having plans for multiple versions in mind. When the Stranger Things licensing expires, I expect to see this released with different decals as a Police/Sheriff Blazer, or with added parts, (Brush Guard, Winch, Extra Gas Cans, Driving Lights, and more Aggressive Tires & Wheels) as a Full Blown Off Road Machine. Or something else. Maybe in Forest Service, or Fire Chief Markings... Anyway, I predict that we will see other Kits off this tool, but It may be a few years before we do. But, I don't Think Revell spent the Tooling dollars for a One & Done kit.
  18. Revell did a re-tool of the TJ Taxi a few years ago. Fresh Tooling was cut. However, I don't think Atlantis got it and Ton Daniel has sworn that he won't work with Revell, so That tooling may sit unused for a long time, before it sees the light of day again. Sad, because I put off buying one of the new ones when they came out, and missed my chance to have one.
  19. I am sorry he lost it. Yours looks very good though.
  20. Here is a pic of the engine parts. The Flattie is very simple, but looks good when done. 7 parts total, counting the exhaust pipes. And the rest of the instructions. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/revell-monogram/tom-daniels-pie-wagon/?view=roll#1
  21. Great News! I bought my first house 14 years ago. It is nice not to rent anymore. I hope you have many happy years there. I weren't in California, I'd Be over with a Loaf of French Bread and a bottle of Muscat Canelli to celebrate!
  22. I just saw that. My Dad had a few of his first albums. I listened to them for hours. They were so Funny. May he R.I.P.
